Out on ale last night which is rare these days for me , was meant to be taking my lad jack out to ferret a bank a couple miles from me but was rough so sacked that idea.. by midday the boredom had set in so decided to have a quick hour out with our new Jill that we’d got off a lad on here and my lurcher gwen .. I’d checked this place earlier in the week and dogs were marking up so netted what we could and left Gwen loose .. couple minutes later we had our first rabbit caught by lurcher.. then a massive rat flew out that didn’t make a yard from hole and a few minutes later another that
  4. Numbers definitely down local to me.. We are only interested in taking a couple here and there so we still doing ok .. always took it for granted when numbers were high even myxi didn’t knock numbers too badly but dogs and ferrets having to work hard for a few just lately.

  7. Our young hob seems to be doing this.. ferreting an old pit stack yesterday morning .. 2 separate digs and a couple of bolts in no time..keeping me fit lol

Haven’t ventured more than a couple miles from home yet but been getting my 9 year old out with his young hob these past few weeks.. it’s not been easy finding, all the usual spots are dead ...and combined with a young inexperienced ferret we’ve not had much success which has been a little disheartening for my lad but it hasn’t put him off or dampened his enthusiasm any.. we’d had an unsuccessful dig last Saturday and missed a couple of bolters due to cover so we was hoping for a change in luck today.   17. Who repairs these and anyone got a contact number please? Got a 15ft box that only works up to 4-5 feet , and an 8ft thats not picking up at all .. cheers sesku
