  1. I was thinking along the lines of a natural reset, don't think there would be much survival from a nuclear winter from the bombings. Atb j
  2. So a couple of thousand years before we're back to square one again. The nature of the beast I suppose. Atb j
  3. Would you say you'd have it easier over in Canada Ted, due to its vastness, low population and a large amount of game, big and small. Atb j
  4. How long do ye think it would take some reglious order, or some new political party to try and take control of the people and ruin the new "Eden" for want of a name for the new era Atb j
  5. Again, true. But the time would come when we do run out of ammo, need to be prepared for such situations Atb j

  7. True Until we run out of ammo, I'd go more for com pound and crossbows. Rods, lines, traps and nets.. Ferrets, and lurchers also. Boat, chickens, polytunnels and a small amount of livestock. Shelter been a massive thing as well. Atb j
  8. About as much thought as I have I see ?? I'd safe to say, the cities and large town would be the ones mostly hit with the mass hysteria and break down, As you said, sit it out for the first four to six weeks, and restart Atb j
  9. Carring on from the winter solstice topic. Talking of a natural reset, how many on here honestly think they would survive it, espically with most of us involved in some type of country life and living. What would you deem to be the best and main essentials need in every day life. Do you think that ones to survive will have learnt any thing from the past, on what not to do, and live a slimplear life existence, more in tune with nature, to be grateful, respectful and work with her instead of against Something like the movie the day after tomorrow, or a plauge outbreak
  10. Will do dougieboy ? Atb j

That looks good, very practical. A lot better than what I had in mind to do. Did you make this yourself Atb j
  13. I believe it will happen in the next 50 to a 100 years or so. There will be a reset, it has always been like that, it's just the human race is hurrying it on. I'd say at least 50% will be wiped out by some sort of virus or plauge. It's mother nature's way of rebalancing the scales This is just my thoughts on it Atb j
  14. The way things are going, and if this virus keeps changing we could end up getting a visit from this santy ???? Atb j
  15. Alban Arthuan: The Celtic Origin of Christmas Many of our Christmas traditions began with the Celtic culture and traditions. The Yule, the New Year, Hogmany, Christmas, and the Winter Solstice have uniquely blended over time and fit into our Christmas celebrations. The Celtic festival of Alban Arthuan, held on the Winter Solstice on December 21, was a Druid festival celebrating the re-birth of the sun. It means “Light of Arthur” according to the Arthurian legend. The Winter Solstice celebrated the return of the Divine Child, the Mabon, the rebirth of the golden solstice Sun,
