    Whats up bud? would kill me to not get out and about, I had flu over christmas and still have a bad chest and stuffy nose even now, I keep grunting and oinking too wonder what it could have been. Got a Tumor removed from my back bud !! shitlike! Hopefully up and running soon ATB

    TBH bud, If you pushed it you could cull under public health reasons(shit getting into food chain, covering frequently used machinery etc etc) BUT it`s a fish farm ! shoot 1 and 10 will replace it mate,, you`d be fighting a losing battle,

    My auld man wasn`t into fieldsports or owt, but when I was about 11 or so he got a Mk1 BSA Meteor,(still got it under me bed) Used to take me down the Heugh to shoot at cans! Hooked, , got my own rifle at 14 and have never stopped, Never really had anyone older to show me how,, kinda had to find it out for mesell!. Had the ferrets for 23 years now and can`t see me without them, Started my lads out young, The auldest is Cody on here, a lurcher maniac that one, the youngest has not taken to it as much,, likes to hear about it all but doesn`t get out.

    Have to say ,I really rate the Mk3M I have a Mk1 and have used it for years, I upgraded to the Mk3M and never looked back, I like the way it works and with a bit of practice it`s a superb bit of kit. The Mk1 is in like new condition (looked after it) but still can`t bring mesell to sell it though! The benifit of switching of the collars is worth the money on its own to me !!

    I can understand why folk get annoyed,, go back a year and read exactly the same stuff from last year, It starts around now and goes on till about the begining of June !!! Last year I asked for a sticky thread about ferret welfare but ws told that because no one would read it anyway it wasn`t worth doing I am making an effort to be nicer to them this year as last year I went off on one and ended up frustrated that I couldn`t change the world by shouting at it

    Done it again bud lol read this after posting my last comment. In this case you know what the script is , the reason he`s having a go is cause he want his hole!! My last advise still stands though,,, Vascectomy is the way !!

    Just read your other post,made while I was typing up the last one Fair enough. My advise for you would be as follows Stick with the 5 you have just now and forget breeding altogether just now bud ! Get 2 of the hobs castrated and get the third one a Vascectomy, (this will cost you but beleive me it`s the way forward here) When the Jills come into season put the vascectomised hob in with them and he will knock them out of season. this way. your hobs can live in peace until the breeding season ,then the one with his nuts can get moved out for a shagfest holiday with the jills.

    5 ferrets is quite a few, why are you planning to breed more ? If your asking these types of questions I would guess that you are new to ferrets in which case learn how to look after the ones you have before breeding lots more If you plan to keep them all you have to think about how to bring the jills out of season,, do you know how to do that ?? Given that you have 3 hobs, you will need to think about what to do to stop them having a go at each other,, bearing in mind that one of them will need his balls to bring your jills out of season.     I hope you know more about hawks than you do about ferrets mate. What you've just wrote is a crock of shit to put it mildly, "she can die and more than likely will. Can you tell me what experiences you base your opinion on? I think what he means is that if a Jill is not taken out of season ,she will be likely to develop aneamea which can be fatal. But a Jill can go into season in her first year. So it was not entirely a "crock of shit" ATB
