I’ve not forgotten mate you are correct with what you say I’ve said that but That’s one of many options out there for me but can’t see me using a greyhound tbh it’s just a option for the heavy base blooded one as I’ve put my self in a good situation with the 2 I’ve got as ones racey bred an the other is heavy base blooded but more than likely there go back to a close relative but it all depends on what one is worth breeding any replacements out of they might turn out turds yet it’s still very very early days to be thinking to hard about breeding replacements so it’s all just thoughts in my ide -

I’m not really to clued up to much on breeding I’ve dabbled but I’m a terrible observer an take mental note I’m a believer in working Lurchers should alway be put in an out of racey bred an heavy base blood working Lurchers to produce working dogs the only people that normally hit a Lurcher mix with greyhound are show people that want to produce a dog to be a fast racer and have conformation for showing most tend to produce thick as pig shit dogs that break easily I’ve always been a percentages guy I like to know what’s in them percentage wise base blood and sight hound wise I’ve got 3generati -

Dan I think your right pants can An will be pulled down by people you think you can trust in this game I’ve been down that road a few times before an hope I’ve learned from it i was once told by my mentor to Lurchers a saying he said to me after a incident there was...once you’ve been burned by the frying pan don’t chuck your self in to fry for a round 2 of being burnt I’ve written this out an deleted it about 20 times trying to word it so I don’t sound to much like Im being a spineless c**t I know the lurcher game people can be a bit sensitive I’ve not actually practiced it but I see 10 -

Friends are free people I don’t know I’d charge £150-180 but good home is important but the more I think about it its starting to make sense to put what you don’t want from the litter to sleep Im thinking that is a better option that selling or giving pups away to people you don’t know -
Good luck jig hope all goes well for ya fella

No the kelpie was first with what I can make out using English collies sent to Australia the Australians developed the cattle dog later on using herding drovers probably kelpie/collie to natives to get them the direction they need to go in but I recon there’s got to be a farmer out there that thought feck this 2 dogs for developed for different jobs an let his cattle dog service his kelpie collie An sold the surplus off as straight kelpies your probably right bill there probably linked somewhere an branch off

You on about Australian cattle dogs or Australian kelpies I think Australian cattle dogs look corgie healer looking.kelpies look like a collie to me or have I got my wires crossed An there one an the same breed
-
Still a herder just a Australian version of English collie makes no difference.coming to think of it were did the kelpie dissent from bet it was English collies
-
I keep both I’ve still got a collie x mate the dam an grand dam to both my youngest bitches if I was after another collie cross I’m sure I’d be able to find one with out to much trouble first place I’d start is were my collie x came from then I’d pm jigsaw who has a litter of f1s ready to drop if he couldn’t help I’d pm colliejohn see what he knows if none of the above could point in any directions I’d wait it out some thing would turn up. Tbh I don’t think I’m only saying it because I keep Lurchers with terrier in them I’m saying it because it’s truthful just on what I see the world has moved
