    I recon a coursing dog could if bought up as a Lurcher to do Lurchers jobs could hold its own tbh but it’s dependent on if the owner is a one man one dog type of guy/gal an how much of a rush they are in to have a finished article there genetically designed to catch shit so your over half way there it’s just the manners that need installing but that’s down to the trainer on how much time they put in to the dog

    She gets sardines an marcel I hit the fish counter up for bargains at Morrison’s if her indoor drags me shopping but I tend to look for food to feed the dogs? rather than human food shopping

    This pup I’ve got is going to be a heavy set bitch i recon dan her legs are already thicker than the pied colour bitch I’ve got her feet also look a lot tighter an neater than the pieds she’s got a head like there’s bull blood in there but must be a throw back to the bedlington blood she’s definitely going to be a stronger type bitch I’ve noticed with this pup though training as been a little harder so far than the pied colour bitchs was but we’re get there in the end though with the training she’s just a little slower at picking stuff up definitely be getting her out the end of this sea

    I don’t think I’ve got the mind set to train one for my needs tbh such a dog would be waisted on me but think a courseing dog to a over base blooded lurcher would suit me more something I could put a bit of basic training in to I like a dog that listens an takes commands rather than that distant sighthound look. I do like some of theses saluki bull greyhounds I lamp with one that belongs to a mate pretty decent dog tbh big 28-29tts works rabbits lovely ?

    Cracking looking pup jig?? the amount of numptys out there it’s unbelievable this is the only thing that puts me off about ever breeding a future litter when I need replacements having to Sort the wheat from the chaff

    One thing that mind boggles me is when someone is asking or selling pups on any social media or selling page is there’s never no mention of age of sir & dam on adds for sale I think it’s a vital bit of information if your selling pups or a buyer to try an cram as much information in a add to not waist any ones time many people get tucked up in the Lurcher game buying a pup out of dogs that have only completed one seasons work but are promoted as decent dogs seem it loads over the years

    I’ve had both bedlington an collie xs I favour a mix of both these days I mean decent bred f1s are very hard to come by I’ve found it’s a gamble when buying a f1 as there’s not many decent base blood studs available then there getting putting to a cast greyhound that could of been a duffer that’s why it’s cast in the first place there’s not many if any working greyhounds plus bedlingtons are hit an miss an what there actually up to collies are the same most only are used for a small numbers of sheep I personally think cut out the middle man let other people take do the work take the gamble wi

    Definitely a good cross mooch I’ve found that bedlington an collie x together makes for a really easy going handy lurcher without any draw backs from either base blood no head strongness from the bedlington no sensitiveness from the collie I really like the cross I rate them a lot mate. Speak to ray if you go down the route see if you could possibly use his f1 dog it’s got age an experience on it’s side with no bull shit from rays part

    Used to work with my cousins foster parents whippets when I was younger we was both encouraged to ferret with them an lamp them to keep us out of trouble as we were both tear aways his foster parents were well in to there county sports they were oakbark an nimrodel bred I can always remember a dog they had called blue (because he was blue) this little dog was a proper trooper don’t know if these lines are still going but worth a look

    Nice them two crows I’ve always kept birds used to breed an show red canarys I’ve bred a few goldfinches an goldie mules in the past I used to be pretty serious in to bird breeding showing but the last few years I’ve winded down due to family life,work,dogs not enough hours in the day I got rid of my red stud bought a couple of pairs of Fife’s to keep my hand in the things bred like mice!
