I just read rippems post comparing groundhogs and coons. I actually agree with him. Some people I hunt with argue with me, but like he said a big coon in a small hole is at a disadvantage. Above ground coons are way tougher than groundhogs. A big groundhog in a small hole can be very tough. Raccoons are a lot easier to pull out of a hole than a groundhog. I am pretty strong and a 15 pound hog in the right spot is not easy to pull out. -

Deadgame does still hunt. I came up with this name in 1984 when I was 23 years old. One of my best dogs was a dog named Noah born in 1998 out of Nuttall's Jesse. He was a very good hard dog only 10 inches tall but he had very short legs. He could get anywhere underground and had very intense drive. We froze his semen 18 years ago. We have used it several times I have some very good dogs out of him and sometimes we get some built like Noah. They will never win a show but can really move around in groundhog holes. -
Mack out of Mick. 11 inches tall and 12 pounds. got this hog four foot down in slag. I have more pictures but only allowed 200 k. When I built my first website many years ago. The host site gave me 200 k of space, at the time I thought I will never use that much space. Now one picture is way bigger than that. Todd

my Mach dog turned two in september. This is his second season, of course last season was not a very long one, but he is doing great, he locates very fast and disappears in a hole rarely makes a sound so you have to have a good locator, we got a 25 pound groundhog with him thursday. he was smashed in some tight slag.

Just in case you care about facts, I bought a pup out of Simon when Riviotta bred him the first time. The pedigree showed Simon's father as Fogarty's Sam who was out of Oake's Danny or Dandy not sure which but it said border terrier. On the pedigree. The pup was Casey you can see her picture under the chocolate Patterdale post. Todd

I saw Gripper before he died in Ohio. He was in a box trying to get out to kill a pup I was looking at. I think his site was bad. I had a son of his. That was a real good young dog. I have some of his grandkids that are good dogs.

Maybe you're right and language can never fully describe of put into words what love is, but here we are using our language to talk about it! Greater minds than us all have debated this subject for thousands of years and still there isn't a definite answer, only the same old questions! Suppose it keeps life interesting.. Well that may be true.. A lot of the ones that don't have the will power to stop and chose not to have a belief system, end of dead. I have lost so many of my friends to drug overdoses, in the past few years. Including my first born son Todd dead at 28, My best friend and Cousin Bruce dead at 40. It is a good comeback. My main point is that eventhough I was a drunk, a dopehead, and a hypocrite, God was still waiting on me. He loves everyone of us, even those who say there is no God. I know this not only because someone told me, or because I read it in the Bible but because I have lived it. I appreciuate all of the responses. I was really surprised to see 7 pages of responses already, I have not read them all yet, but I will. Ok Christian I went back and read enough posts to figure out who you are. I talked to you in Iowa, I did slip off by myself when everyone was drinking, because I don't drink, and I had just buried my son right before coming to Iowa. I know you got rid of most if not all of your dogs. I ended up with one of the dogs you got from Mike In Oklahoma that you said was stolen from you. The man that sold me the dog told me that he bred her and gave you back two pups out of her. He did say that you wanted the last pup and her back but you were not willing to pay for them so he sold them to me. -

I don't know who you are, but I am guessing we met in Iowa, at the hunt. The reason I seemed shady and did not talk to anyone was because my son died on 10-28-2008 I had just burried him right before coming to Iowa. Also all the things that Possum said about being ripped off turned out to be untrue. He changed to everyone, he was going through some hard things, and I have talked to him recently he appologized.
