    He`d probably be better of with a decent medium sized tackle box(£20) and a budget carp chair(£25),them match fishing boxes aint light,plus if it gets cold or boring you can have a kip in a chair,try perching on a box in the wind and rain lol, Tight lines,Rob.

    Got a 44 ball mould cast 160. Bands came,put it together,3 shots and the f*cking thing snapped,left hand arm,right at the handle. Bit pissed at the time,but already lookin back,it was funny as... Gonna get me some 20mm marine ply today.

    I got a mate who was goin to shoot another mate with a really old,lame, 177 rifle in the back,as he was coming up the stairs. Just as the lad turned on the stairs,Lewis pulled the trigger and shot him in the nose just below the eye. 3 years later the lad that got shot went for a dental x-ray and guess what showed up! No one had a scooby it was in there,but once you knew,you could feel it. Just goes to show,you dont f*ck about with even old weak guns. I feel like I should have had safety glasses on reading them last few pages lol.

    Sweet. They look just like Fish`. How/what are you tying the bands on with cos that looks just like Fish` too. Looks well neat compared to some Ive seen(inner tube style). Do you reckon binding them on with a load of Bait elastic would hold them on? ATB,Rob.

    The fish don't belong to anybody, only the right to fish for them at a particular stretch belongs to whoever holds the rights. What happens if the fish swim down stream, have they got special markings so that nobody else catches them on another stretch? So if a club stocks its waters once the fish go in the water,the club loses ownershipof the fish,is that what your saying? You condone river fishing with fire works do you?

    Here`s the one Im making,bit rough but its my 1st crack at one. Made out of 2 bits of polished hardwood plank,the glue let go so I had to glue and screw it together again(own fault,didnt take the polish off 1st)

    This aint poland mate. You cant wipe out fish stocks just because the farmer said so. The fish belong to the angling club who run that stretch. I would stay out of it,say a couple of club members catch you at it,all they are goin to see is a Pole with a big net and as you may or may not know angling clubs have had big problems with Poles and big nets. Just my 2 bob`s worth...

    Ta mate. Theres quite a few fully scaled in this little pond,its only an acre big,4ft one end and 14ft the other. Got my eye on a 28lb common in there. Tight lines.

    I had a 6lb.4 off the shore on my daughters cheapo 5ft shakespeare spinning rod. I was spinning for mullet up against some groynes and I spotted it,cast to it and that was that. Not bad for a Carp angler. Tight lines lads.

    Just a couple of tidy winter Mirrors caught on my homemade Peach n Black pepper on Nutrabaits BFM. I had the fully scaled in summer at 20lb and in that pic its 22 on the dot. The pics are two diff 24hrs sess`s,only been managing the 1 each time,but its one more than my mates. Tight lines,Rob.     3 Delkim txi,with matrix snag ears, 3 3lb chub outkast,3 Diawa bri 4500`s on solar stainless with solar bobbins(got a bit tarty over the last few months) Dont matter what kit you got tho,the carp dont know if your sponsored by argos(it is sh*te tho) Ive had a few bits that went in the bin when I got home,good fun watching it fall to bits when you mate gets one on...     Nice catty VV,just ordered some bands,gonna make me own. But can you tell me,do you shoot it like it recommends on the Hunter website,by holding the "U" with your thumb and fore and gripping the handle with the other 3 fingers? Looks kinda mad and I wouldnt want to catch me fingers! Just want to know so I know what kind of size and shape to look for. Cheers,Rob.

    Hi All, Ive just been given a brand new ARVA A.D.vanced avalanche transceiver.I was just wondering if anyone knows if it will pick up a B+F collar,no point buying the whole kit if this thing will pick it up. Just noticed in a pic of a collar(barryvox 52) a few threads up,the the band width? of the collar is 457khz and it just so happens,thats the same as this transceiver.... All help/info always appreciated. Happy Hunting,Rob.
