hows the farm jai? Any pics mateThey are scum mate.
Having a nightmare with them at the moment.
Last week or two, driven all over crops, smashed fences, cut fences, rammed a gate, dumped dogs, stole a quad bike, tried to break into the house and into the yard. . . . . .
And folk wonder why some of us are highly suspicious of certain sections of society!
Too many sheep, not enough sleep lol.
5-6000 of the wooly idiots.
Live in the land of big fields, bad flint, game keepers and nosy neighbours. . . .
But theres usually something or other to chase. Luckily having crap dogs keeps me out of trouble.
Old anti social one is on three legs at the moment, but me and the young, dumb, staffy are off out later.

My mate has asked me to post this on here. He was walking up the skirrid mountain near Abergavenny in South Wales on Friday and something (possibly the high wind) spooked his pet lurcher bitch and she bolted. He searched for her and no joy. Has been back every day and night since but nothing. He's spoken to lots of locals, farmers, police, vets etc.
She's black/brown and white and is a staffy x, about 22" tts. Called bella and is good with people, dogs and most importantly sheep!
If anyone hears anything good or bad he'd appreciate knowing.

To be fair what she wants to do is lick the milk off their faces. Has showed no aggression at all toward them. Which is a bonus given what I do for a living!

my mates got one 1 x beddy x whippet , and its spot on great little tough dog , my next dog in the future will be this x, ive always wanted a smaller lurcher as ive got older , for bushing/mooching there 1st classI get out with sniffer boy off here and his 2 beddy whippets. They ain't shy of getting into the cover, and fast enough to on the outside too if something is bolted! Great fun to get out with they are.
These little dogs are class. Great fun and plenty of action.....owner is a bit strange!! One is a 1st cross and he has a pup out of her that is 1/4 beddy 3/4 whippet. There's lads on here with litter brothers and sisters. Bird, I would honestly go for one of these for a mooching dog.
The sire is the best 'hunting' dog ive owned, and one of the best ive been out with. Never fecking stops and is always on the job. OCD little black twat that he is.

Met him, had a good chat etc. . . . a really nice bloke. Regardless of how you feel about what he did for a profession.

This place is funny as hell.
Full of experts.
Not got a clue!
That dog will suit my buddy and me, and others who hunt similar, just right.

Not sure what was over my head?
Collie and Cur are quite different animals. I have seen both, but only bred from Collie x, Only because I couldn't find a Cur.
Have bred collie x both ways, Sire Collie and dam Collie, no difference whatsoever. But this is with very limited experience of only 2 litters either way.
I was taking the piss mate, I know they aren't just collie x's. . . . . .the question 'what is a minshaw' always makes me smile. Its a lurcher, bred by a group of folk, to do a certain job. Whats in them isn't really that important is it.

No most defiantly not collie x. They may have had some cur dog in them somewhere and some terrier blood. In them days almost all of the racing whippets had some terrier blood in them.
Victor told me he couldn't leave old rip in the house or a kennel it could not tolerate being locked up and would wreck the place tearing curtains down and eating anything wooden.
Old Rip looked like a mongrel. Nipper was slightly more refined but would never win a handsome dog contest. He was as rough as the roads.
Think that went straight over your head fella

Gutting, and a ridiculous waste of a pup, through a moments lack of thought.

So whats in them again? They're collie x's right?

I wonder did it ever cross his mind that at some point in the future what he took as part and parcel of country life would be frowned upon even to the disgraceful conclusion of banning it. I really don't think so! Good days hard but good. Thanks for another terrific pic marshman
I'm pretty sure it was frowned upon then!

Old news mate. . . . July 2015.
Those people deserve culling.
-
I need some.
Who makes them?
-
Yer good plan, question a single woman in a different country from the attacks, she's bound to know as she's a muslim and they all got the memo . . . .
I'm pretty sure her response was just about the most likely and correct one he was going to get. . . . .

If you're clever and the hunt is a good one and liked, you'd quickly wall him out, and make his life tough. It can be a small community. . . . . and a lot smaller when people think you're a c***t.
