  1. after some ideas for housing stags ideal looking for something that is not going to cost an arm and a leg. have been looking on other sites at the dome and square pens like theses was just wondering if anyone else uses these and how they hold up in cold weather .i will be putting the stags in a cockerel box over night and then be putting them in to these pens when its not to early as don't want the neighbors complaing about been up to early lol
  2. Cheers mate on the pic where it says temporary pens the p;ic on the left it looks like there is a roosting pole i was told to not let them have a roosting pole till around 5 month old as it can misshapen the keel bone.....how ever i could be wrong about that also maybe paterdalejole could shed some light on the matter.
  3. like i said guys not 100% on it.dont shoot me
  4. not a 100% on this but a hens tail will point upwards and a stags tail should be pointing down or horizontal.this is from when the birds are on the ground and not in your hand as they lift and driop there tails for balance and i think the males stand taller and are genraly a bigger bird.......but as i say im not a 100% on that mate as im fairly new to the gamefowl world.

  7. That statement may have some truth in it were it not for the fact that it would normally be me shooting the cubs and there is only me and one other guy that shoot foxes on there, and he has just had a hand operation, so it isn't him, to be honest I am more concerned about the myxy, as I will be picking up my new hawk in a fortnight, looks like some travelling is in order. what hawk you having cc?

I am looking to eventually be flying a cast of harrisses in a couple of years to be honest mate most owls are better of in a huge aviary doing feeck all as most are useless unless you want to eat worms and mice lol....if you w
