  1. Lost my iphone a couple of weeks ago. Aswell as leads knives rabbits. Left my old webley eclipse under a hedge with some pheasants. Went back a few hours and the gun slip was gone !! f*****g wierd. Atb.
  2. Ive seen two in my life one was owned by my dad used to kill rats and squrriels for fun and could mark and bush for rabbits.Nothing special really and there are much better dogs out there but i have a soft spot for these little juks. The other one belongs to a mate of mine and looks more like a pinscher than any sort of terrier. Just my limited experiance with this breed. Atb
  3. Bit of both depending on ground and the dogs. Atb
  4. Hhhmmmm guess i better stop feeding hare and deer to my dogs as part of there BARF diet. Serious do they actually do that ? Atb
  5. Most dogs will mark. If i couldnt have a running dog it would be either a beddie or manchester terrier. Atb
  6. Why comment on it if your not interested ? Far too many people on here who instead of posting about hunting would rather sit on here and jump on others. Pretty sad really. Good luck with the sale mate.
  7. Your guess is as good as mine mate. And although a few bits of land round here have low number on other bits there booming. infact thinking about it caught a half grown coney last friday. Atb
  8. For the last few years rabbits have been breeding all year round. Atb
  9. Thats nothing theres another vid off him eating 10 blended mice !!!!
  10. Mine was a brilliant little gun knocked over most airgun quarry with it. Thinking about getting another truth be told. Only bad thing is the co2 capsules run out quickly and are not the best thing to run a gun on. Atb
  11. Wankers mate had the same sort of thing happen the other day but we were on permission. One of the fellers said only reason they didnt shoot was becuase the beaters were in the wood. Bunch of c**ts hope the bitch is found ok. Atb
  12. Hares have been getting fewer and fewer round here for years. If it isn't crops getting sprayed which kills leverets its people having hare shoots to stop lads driving the land. I have a fair bit of permission for hares and the bit that we've got is the only area round there where they don't have an annual shoot. Its gutting to say the least.
  13. The best thing about frosty mornings is hearing the rumbling of whats goin on underground. Thats why i like them. Atb
  14. Dont worry about raising a coursing bred dog as an allrounder just get it from a pup. I got mine at a late age and i couldve trained him to a really high standard if id had him from a pup. But he has some issues that i need to get out of him apart from that hes a very good allrounder and has knocked over ALL qaurry in the small fields around me aswell as the big ones. Atb
  15. I always kill them in the net or let the dog hold them while i quickly chuck a fresh net down. Never felt the need to use a priest on anything other than pigeon/pheasants. But use what will work better for you. Atb
  16. I agree with tyla. I lamp rabbits alot with my bull/grey. Doesnt catch loads but can bag a couple at a time. Atb
  17. Was talking to an old feller a couple of months back about this and he said that pre mixy days they could got longnetting at night and get 100+ a few times a season. I think that mixy VHD weather and kites/buzzards have all played a part in it. We also got onto hares and he said that with all the fields that get sprayed these days they are also declining. Mad really. Atb
  18. Something id love to go over there and see one day. Its surprising to see wolves on there own. Wonder what would happen if there was a pack ; would the wolves protect each other or every man for themselves sort of thing ? Very interesting anyway cheers pualus.
  19. None mate, just lurchers are bred to be silent for when they were used for poaching A dog that yaps while running wastes alot of valuable oxygen I THINK. If you think this cross would work for you then go for it. Atb
  20. I thought the only good jagds in this country were imported ? Not a cross id use as they would have alot of limitations. Atb
  21. With the effort we put into our dogs training feeding fitness .... We strive for our dogs to be at the top of there game ... So although ok might work for some people ... That extra bit off effort goes a long way. Each to there own really. My dogs just seem to recover that bit quicker with that extra bit of comfort and seem to hold there condition abit better. Atb
  22. + 1 I thought the same till i put some lamps in my kennels.
