  1. Hi all, So I'm in my new house now and my little bitch comes into her first season un-be-known to me to start with. Then next door's boxer jumped the fence cause they have a load of logs piled up against it, I didn't worry about it to start with until I realised she was in season, now I'm crapping myself that she has been caught out by the fat f@cking thing!!! How do I find out if she has? I mean she is still bleeding but I'm sure that doesn't matter tis early on. I barely let them out of my sight but the :censored ing thing was in my garden again tonight sh@tting all over the place C@NT!
  2. Good work, took my pup out tonight in all, the first 3 got away but nailed the last one. Taking it easy on her as she is only 10 months, need to work on the retrieve now!
  3. I had a similar problem not so long ago, so I tried a long line, walked her straight through a load of sheep that didn't move and she didn't bat an eyelid. Tried it again and again, nothing, little f@cker knows whats on, then as soon as she was off the lead you could tell she wanted to go again and it was only when they started to run. So when I had her on the lead and she so much as looked at a sheep I told her off for it, quite forcefully to the point now where I only have to look at her when she can see one and she'll stop in her tracks. Now she's good, but I always call her in close if we
  4. Sounds like the way forward to me there is less chance of someone spotting a beam where it shouldn't be as well!
  5. Well done mate, cigars all around!!!
  6. I just accept it as it is , would just have it around me as pet , in my view they all work to some extent. Having had my dog from a pup, and building a bond would be to gut renching to get rid. Or am i to soft? I'm the same, soft as shite!!!!!
  7. Well I'm well Chuffed!!! My little bitch had her first rabbit tonight, her first run was good, a short slip on some stubble she had her nose on it 3 or 4 times and just seemed to test what it was instead or getting hold of it. Then my mates Bull x had a couple of good runs and picked up a couple. I foolishly gave Tilly a long slip then but she made good ground, turned it a couple of times before it made it's get away. Then we came up to the next field after she had a little rest light went on and there was a rabbit about 50 yards out just in a dip I slipped her and she couldn't see it to start
  8. Thats proper good stuff!!! And what it's all about for me
  9. Got mine done although I am sure that if someone was to steal her they would end up finding it and cutting it out. But there is always the chance of being reunited so it is a worthwhile thing to do.
  10. All good advice R F Y L the only thing I would add is be consistent with everything you do, don't chastise your dog minute and let it get away with something the next because you can't be arsed! Same goes for the praise you give! If your having a bad day and your dog is not doing quite what you would like it to, it is easy to lose your rag. Don't! You have to be in the right frame of mind as well. Just go home or take it away from that particular situation and always end any bit of training you do on a good note. This has been the best piece of advice that I was given, my pup is coming on a
  11. Hi all, my pup keeps getting conjunctivitis she's had it 3 times in 9 months. Has anyone had similar problems? And have you any tips to get rid of it other than going to the vets. I have been down there and got some cream to put in her eyes, but was wondering if there is an alternative treatment for it? Not that I'm tight but my vet does seem to take the P a bit! And I can't help wondering if she end up not responding to this treatment if she has it too often. As always any constructive advice is gratefully received, all the best Sniffer

  14. Hi here's a pic of my bitch as a pup with her mum who is a grandaughter or great grandaughter to Seagull is there anyone else who has these lines in the south west? Cheers Sniffer
  15. are you wanting to make one or is it you just cant find one to buy??? if its the latter , if you give it a month till i give mine a good test i'll be knocking them out and they should be well under a £100 posted! its not made with a started motor , so they will be light weight, the motors are meant to run for hours ,unlike the starter motors , you wont have to worry about discharge as much as they dont draw 30+ah like the starters all i use is my standard two 7ah lamping batteries, but nothings going to happen till i get lots of testing done as i wont be ripping anyone unlike the last p
