Optimate scopes, they are a no nonesense Japanese made scope and are great value for money, you will also be able to buy a Leupold rifleman or VX1 scope new for your budget, made in the US and a quality scope, I have one on my .17, before that I had a Bushnell banner, and it was excellent too, 2nd hand German scopes are an option too.
