    15 weekds is abit young to lamp rabbits my pups are out young but only walking while the big dogs are watching for a runor eyes the only time he is part of the oplan is when ones topples and he gets asmell and a little chew lol but no serous chaseing for a good while , pups need education rather than chaseing when young

    no hes bred for it i think his dad caught his first rabbit at 4months its all in the breeding and it hasnt dun his dad in

    can anyone help me i have a young lurcher bitch keen as hell on the lamp but just wont retrive the dam bunny anything else she bring back (dummies etc) but not a bunny any help as im new 2 this thanks 4 any tips

     

     

    i know that feeling, my bitch is exactly the same. She'll retrieve golfballs and shot pigeons and thats it. Dont know what i did wrong, the other dogs are fine but i just cant make her do it :wallbash: Alot of people would say get rid but she makes up for it in other ways and im a big softy so shes safe :D

    i got a rabbit gutted it stuffed it with papper tied a string round its neck and played with it and he nos wat a bunny is now

    its not cos the moon is full the dogs are hunting up . they should have istant recall no mater what the moon is doing. , put some time in on the training side of things, nowt worse than a deaf dog. sort the recall out ;)

    ive been haveing lamping lessons off a mate and training my 15week old dog since friday weve had four out of five nites that were good my pup is good on recall but he went abit awall for two nights so the best way to bring him in was to work him hard and it paid off last nite was realy wet and the rabbits out in forse he had about 20 corses and was wacked but he learnt to come back in instead of workin out in the field all the while

    cracking american x staffy pup for sale shes 18 weeks old dark brindle and will be an excellent worker in the right hands or for a greyound to go to her for strong bull x pups. shes good with other dogs and children and can live in side or out. got great potential to be a great guard dog. shes very large and strong. shes also been injected wormed and flead for pics and more info call on 07789001492

    hi just thought id say hellow to you all im 43 have three dogs a greyhound jackrussel wippit and a lurcher he came fourth at the midland game fair pupie class yesterday i also have a airarms s410 i live in culmington ludlow and thats about it so once again hi all :D

    ye you can't beat a good day's ratting by best day with the lads off the hunt was 422

    all killed by terriers down at the local skip yard

    Hi everyone,

     

    Just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself.

     

    I'm 27, Plumber from Notts. I used to be into air rifles and hunting in a big way, but stopped about 9 years ago. Basically, i've just got over an alcohol problem and no longer drink. So, i've found myself wondering what to do in the evenings and weekends! I've decided to re-kindle my old passion and get back into the scene. I've got the rifle, scope and entusiasm. Just need to make some friends and get myself some permission!

    hi and welcolm ive got an airarms s410 177 its a top gun but waiting to get some land to shoot on as just gave up my field and sold all the horses so got no where to shoot now and well dun on giveing up takes a strong man to admit something like that keep it up :clapper:

    Well usually my wee russell just goes in, but an old guy along the road is gonna smoke some out for her, i just dig if she needs a wee hand, keeps me fit lol :showoff: actually i live on a game estate next to woods and i did flush some out with a hose once i wanted to do more but my hose wasnt long enough, it worked my russells caught loads that night.

    has your jack been bit by any as ours aint had one yet its the wifes dog shes pure white and every thinks shes a westie the wife goes mad shes just had five pups and theyve all just gone now can get some sleep now

    Hiya welcome Im new too! I only have JRTs and a bull x just now,A like a bit of ratting, :welcomeani:

    Do you just use the dogs or do u smoke em out

    i know a farmer who has an old chainsaw hes took the bar out and put some pipe on it and smokes them out

    works wonders dont it .

    yes indeedie they have a great day on the farm dogs run round like mad catching them
