Giro had a big giro
Cheers, D.
I exited the club late 2016/2017
I was never a signatory or treasurer.
I am not sure what happened to any funds,I'd not even now the figure or balance. It may of caused some issues with the bank, when Jayne passed away or its been passed over to charity, I don't know tbh.
I'd be guessing but I don't even think it would of been a few hundred quid.
I know during the time I helped, no monies were spent from subscriptions and the websites were paid for by donations from members.
Sir Jonny Scott covered his own expenses when he attended the Hunting Council.
Maybe the members were sent some correspondence about the club, but not being an active member, I'd not know that either.
If folk have unanswered questions, I'm not sure who could address them.

Seen a Magpie today @ Chester Zoo..
The family were horrified but it was the most instinctive creature there..
A mallard was feeding with her young in tow, from families that were enjoying their picnic.
The chicks must of only been a few days old.
The magpie hopped down from a tree and grabbed a tiny duckling. Left the scene as quickly as it arrived.
I felt sorry for the kids, that where traumatised, from what they'd witnessed.
It's the 2nd time I've seen birds attacking ducklings, the other time it was a heron, down the river.
I told the mother in law that's real life and got a thick ear lol.

What's the best way for blocking the holes where they nest ??
I've also got a nest & an waiting for them to leave..
I was thinking expandable foam or will they open that back up??
What's the crack with chicken wire ?? Stuff it in the hole ??
-
I've a few old army rucksacks, with the tops held open with high tensile wire.
Cheap & effective.

Prefer magpies to starlings, they are dirty little buggers..
Magpie has to survive like everything..
I've two magie nests in my back and I just leave them.Down the fields I'd pop one off, given the chance.
I'm forever blocking the roof off but each spring the starlings find away in and shit all over the cars on the drive..
Shame I canny pop a few of them off..

That would suit the trainer wearing brigade lol..

I've had a few pairs of muck boots and grub wellies never lasted well really..
Tried a pair of good year neoprene wellies & they are going strong.
They've gone up in price a bit mind..
Like said canny beat proper boots if your covering some distance or rough terrain..

Cheers fella..
Aye maybe after Googling it..
Has the big back legs like them.
It was docile never jumped away hope there ain't anymore knocking about in the house..
-
Aye it was not a horse fly it was black and really small just a few mm in size them horse flys are big brown orange colour? ? Call them cleggs up here and they give you some nip lol
-
Lol it definitely weren't a spider. .
She had to get some antibiotics. .
It was red hot and "proper sore" .
It was very small, slightly bigger than a flea and was not very fast moving..

-
Bet they normally don't have much on.
That would of been there biggest case in years lol
-
Is that where you had the bother when ferreting & they took your shot gun ??
-
I've got the 55 250 & 75 300
I always grab the longer lens & to be honest would like a longer lens..
You'll get good enough shots if your not to ambitious with the distance..
I'm like yourself and work in the price bracket I can justify..
Good luck with the lens..

Good info here.

Giro the supplement you suggest is based on Devils claw which contains an anti inflammatory drug that is still under investigation and has similar side effects as other similar anti inflammatory drugs. the product gives no idea of the dose of active ingredients so could either have none and do nothing or some and risk side effects. perhaps better use one that is dose-able like metacam least then you know what you are getting rather than taking a shot in the dark with all the same risks of the standard medication without knowing if there will be any benefit..
I was recommended this product & myself found it to, eradicate the joint stiffness in my dog.
I found it worked and the dog never experienced any unwanted side effects.
It really gave her a new lease of life..
I actually went for this option aposed to metacam or rimadyl as it's was cheaper ( no crazy prescription charge) & there is a lot of literature to support the therapeutic use of Devils claw..

With rabbit's at the time when caught a rabbit became a coney, then nicked as hunting coney with out game license. If you had permission it was rabbit control, and think you couldn't get a game licence without having permitted land ?
They were £3:50 when they stopped.. Just got them at the post office & they never mentioned permission..

I like the monster mix & it's one of the cheaper ones..
Dogs do well on it & decent turds..
Tried a few of them and dogs have got on with them all..
Prior to using this I used gain or formula..
Dogs are better with CSJ. .

I heard of a collie greyhound like that. Hated foxes with a passion and served its owner well, fed and kept in coin. I never saw it run either. but apparently its offspring were equally superb. Cant remember the guys name, but the dog was called Merle. The best dog I have known round my way belonged to a terrier man alsatian greyhound never saw the dog myself but people still talk about this dog hated old Charlie with a passion the fella who owned it told me he was a one off he never had another lurcher after that
Sounds like the start of dynasty there....
