    I've not spent much on air gunning.. Think its like anything,if you've got the money to play with, the more you play.. I've had same hunting clothes for years,my coats at least 12 years old.. I've spent cash on vans and jeeps but I'd of had to have a moter anyway for shooting or dog work.. I reckon if I was better off,I'd get into a syndicate on the stalking or driven shoots.. Doubt I'll ever have the spare cash lol

    The dogs have evolved.. Greys are bigger and faster now.. Greyhounds and salukis are different animals, the line bred lurcher benefits from both.. The modern athletes man or beast have centurys of genics and have continued to improve,with science .. The modern line bred lurcher can run mulitples single handed .. The dogs & sport have changed.. Hunting for food 1800s would be kick ups and 2 or 3 up.. Coursing clubs ran paired .. Salukis and lurchers started single handed running... They can do what the Grey cant..

    Max I often agree with a lot that you say.. But surely a line bred saluki lurcher, has more to offer than a pure grey when producing lurchers.. Ive only bred 1 litter, so I'm just guessing though..

    It's just not in every dog to be the best, no matter who's schooling it... Take aspiring young footballers, no matter how how they train, they don't all make the England squad... You need all the ingredients to bake a cake but then it's down to the baker to weigh them correctly, mix them and cook them at the right temp and duration for the best sponge..     That formula one is cheap and reasonably priced @ £10 a sack.. I feed additional meat & fats during the season..

    I said that on a barf site on facebook and got banned lol.. I sometimes boil rabbits and bag it up for storage space.. I've found with rabbits and chicken, they totally just fall apart and are safe.. I've never boiled big bones though.. To be honest I don't feed many big bones just lamb or smaller game..
