  1. I have a suzuki vitara that i bought just for taking the dogs out hunting. R reg around 50,000 milesred in colour but has faded (t-cut it will bring it back up) tax and mot until december engine runs great no problems what so ever the back seats have been taken out and replaced with a lifted floor (original carpet untouched) fire extinguisher has been fitted in the back of the jeep the passenger door on the inside was pulled off, but can be replaced for £10 (i can get one shouldnt be a problem) I also have 2x lots of tyres and rims to go with the jeep Based in Rhondda - South Wales
  2. If i was you but, cheapest way to solve this problem, this is no bull sh*t, first of all strip everything out of the kennels, bedding the lot, clean the area with jeyed fluid or any other disinfectant, they all do the same job, if you got sheets for the dog either get new bedding or wash the ones they already have. But dont put the bedding back in until you have more or less sterilized the kennel first. Get any form of flea, tick shampoo and wash the dogs. Dont go folkin out loads of money on frontline etc every week either buy a tub of garlic sauce from a kebab shop or make it urself and pour
  3. My dogs have come across that problem only since the Summer has come, I know people say you shouldnt use some things that we use on dogs, but in some cases what i tend to use, if it worked for me then it should work on the dog, I had a bottle of shampoo in the house that cost £1.00 from any shop it contained Jasmine. Its good stuff for skin and scalp conditions like this. Give it a go and let me know how it clears up.
  4. My friend is gettin rid of a Black lab dog 7months old if anyone is interested £120ono South wales area 07969423259
  5. Just a quick question, i hear alot of talk about people bragging their dog up that its the best, nothing can touch it etc but is the dog you got now your best ever working dog you have owned or was the best dog uve had was in the past?
  6. no, not a certain type just sudocream tha u can pick up in a £ shop or chemist will do the trick
  7. dont worry about this, this can be caused by nettles and also running through dirt or dirty water, this is why its handy to have a tube of sudocream handy, its cheap and does the job. it wil clear
  8. if this is her first litter, make sure as the pups are gettin older give mam some time on her own too, as i remember when my mother bred her spaniel for the first time, she didnt want to know them after a few days they got a bit too much for her, so make sure you give them time apart and keep an eye on the mother too and not just the pups. make sure she gets rest away from the pups an keep an eye on her teats as the pups get older, between their teeth an claws im sure its not very nice for the mother, so just check theyr not raw thats all. when they get a bit older put soft food down for them
  9. when i was gettin my saluki x pup into jumpin, on our walks we always used to find fences of all sizes so start with the little ones, the dog at first wil be wary about going over it, so what we had to do was jump over ourself and start walkin away an call the dog, soon as he jumps it, praise him show hes done good and get him to do it again, if the dog dont do it tha way, lift him over and encourage him to jump back, dont try to get the dog to jump every fence as it will get utterly bored and wont want to know anymore. Just little bit every day and gradually the dog will build more confidence
  10. Just try bathing the ear every so often, as its the same when we gets scabs we tend to pick at them an scratch them just to ease the itchin, the dogs doing the same, thats why its shakin its head probably tryin to stop the irritation. Just make sure there is nothin lodged in the ear.
  11. the same thing happened to my dog a few weeks back, runnin on a rabbit an caught himself in the fence. had about 2inch tear himself. Tried superglue but the skin wouldnt stretch that far and hold itself in place to heal. Just bathe it every so often and let the dog lick it clean it. The dogs wound gradually pulled itself together and has healed up nicely. Dont take it to the vets coz they wil milk you of ur money. Longs if u bathe it now and again and let the dog lick the wound, it will heal up nicely and save you money.
  12. when i used to take my dogs out running, depending on where we went, sometimes they would have rashes inside of their legs too, sometimes its nettle stings other times its from when theyr running through dirt and dirty water that can cause a rash. Dun worry about it nothin serious, this is why i always have a tube of sudocream handy. it will clear.
  13. Hiya im no expert but goin by experience, let the mother be a mother an do her thing. In some litters you get the odd 1 or 2 that get left out, this is wher u get the smallest or the runt of the litter, ther are a few ways bout it, if u do have a problem like this, feed it by bottle several times a day an keep a close watch on it, make sure its warm. See how she gets on first with being a mother before jumping into help. Hope this helps
