Are You looking for another dog WH?? I would of said collie grey or collie whippet my bitch is brilliant at using her nogging and finding those rabbits laid up in cover on genral walks. but then her recall is good on the lamp. So she's not hunting up. And She's stopped yipping now!!! Isn't your pup any good at rooting through the cover??

Iv'e got two hobs and recently they've started to lose hair on their tails. their are in a brand new hutch they are free from fleas and ticks and also their crap is cleaned out, detoled and washed everyday. Iv'e treated them for fleas and red mite but it doesnt seem to have done the trick. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? Cheers Cymru

I was just thinking the same thing. My dog never shits or pisses in run she's great I change bedding once a week. and jayes fluid every other unless she has pissed or shit. It can't be good for their feet.

How often do you worm your dogs moll? Iv'e been doing mine every 3 months and they're on a raw diet.

Thanks for the replies boys. I'm feeling good about this pup. just goto talk the missus round now. wish me luck Do you guys think a 34 square foot kennel including box is enough room for 2 dogs the box is 16 sq ft so plenty of room for sleeping???

I'm off to have a look at a litter of saluki/Whippet X Deerhound/bull/grey pups tonight. I have been warned though that a saluki X needs ALOT of attention. Now I spend "at least" 3 hours with my dogs a day (if not alot more) that are in the kennel 2 hours walking and in and around the kenells. Has anyone else found this with the saluki cross that they need alot of attention or they become very lonely? Thanks

I hope she does Wilba I hope she does. The weird thing is she's caught 3 rabbits in 3 slips all on diffrent days. Then she decided to open up on her fourth slip thats why I held her back thinking she's to young. Iv'e never been out with her and missed two rabbit's in one night. That's why I'm concerned.

As some of you know I had some trouble with my bitch 2 months back where she opened up! So Iv'e held her back until last night I felt she was ready for another crack. She has calmed down a fair bit she listens much better her recall is spot on in the day and she used to yap chasing the terrier but thats stopped now! she is also nearly 13 months old. I was full of confidence I was ready to take her out last night for a slip. I arrived at my permision to find that as soon as I flicked the lamp on the rabbits were very lamp shy. considering I havn't been up there this year this is strange
