  1. This is awsome news!! I like a happy ending!! You never gave up ang well done!! If I lose my dog I'l know who to ask for help in finding her!! Hope tha scumbag who stole buddy get's what he deserves!!
  2. The way i see it your an arse hole, you obviously didn't bring the dog on right if its yapping. Its brought out in a dog either entered to early or given stupid slips.... pups need to catch or they soon loose heart and become frustrated. If everyone kept and bred from shite the class of lurcher would go down hill, and we are seeing this now. So its either keep shite, pass shite around or put em down. I know which one i would choose.....If i had a dog that was opening up i would hold it back for a thew weeks then give it loads of dropped rabbits, infact id make it so the rabbit couldn't get awa
  3. Witton your an Arse hole plain and simple!! Steve don't listen to (what they tend to call them selves) "Dog Men"!!! My bitch was the one mentioned in the thread that tote posted! She's coming on great. Took me a long time and alot of hard work but got there in the end. I'm not saying she's 100% mute because she isn't if a rabbit hits cover and she still has sight she lets out a bark or whine or if the rabbit is spinning her inside out upside down she'l giv lil yips on the turns! Apart from that she's great. Some dogs just do it and thats life. Iv'e learned to live with it and could n
  4. Iv'e read somewhere if you rip them off don't their heads stay and you get eggs left???
  5. Iv'e notice my ferret has got a tick behind one of its ears. Iv'e never had to deal with ticks before how would I go about dealing with it? Will this tick spread to my other ferret and my dogs which are kenneled right next to the dogs?? Cheers Cymru!!
  6. I like that blue dog Lotus! I think he would make a good allrounder but not all dogs make the grade and I wouldn't even start to judge without seeing the personality of the dog or seeing it out in the field!! Best of luck with your choices?? By the way good on you for taking on a rescue dog
  7. With my clulite the wiring lamp end is excellent but the cigar plug end its terrible. I might wire it directly onto the battery it might work should save me a few pennies to Not ideal though and am intrested in prehaps getting a new one so keep those votes coming! Thanks for all the votes so far.
  8. Iv'e had a Lazerlight for well over a year now and havn't had no problems untill recenlty where Iv'e had to rewire it over 4 times. My mate has a lightforce and swears by it Iv'e been out with it and noticed how good it is! Iv'e decided to get a new lamp but want to know what you guys think should I get the Blazerlight or the Lightforce Striker? And Also isit worth getting the variable power if I get the Striker? If you don't mind people Could you put your choice on a poll for me big thanks
  9. H&J Yeh she's improved tremendously. I only here yips or a whine when either she's lost her rabbit or one has turned her into long grass (she's lost sight) or shes lost her footing on wet ground when turning. But yeh I never get that yip yip yip anymore. she's come on much further than I expected. Same to you by the way Hywel!!
  10. Yeh she's 1/4collie 1/4 grey 1/2 whippet she isn't looking to fit in the photo but she is looking much better now.
  11. This is my pup who I have gone through good and bad times with! I feel I'm finally on the way to making a good little bitch. She is my 1st lurcher and she's making me proud so far!! What do you guys think??
  12. Looks lie you had a cracking night!! Well Done
  13. My bitch used to yip a little when turning rabbits. she's seemed to calm down alot now and only does it now and again if she loses her quarry. It doesn't seem to bother me at all. I find that the rabbits don't f**k off when she does yip infact Iv'e had many a squatter because of this. It bothers some people but I'm fine with it. Just go lamping on your own or with someone whom don't care.
  14. Thats exactly what Iv'e done glad to know iv'e done the right thing thanks for that scallywag! Ledgend
  15. Iv'e got a whippet X and she's great in the kennel. never had a noise out of her. My mate has a got a pure whippet and she's great to. Shouldnt be a problem if the pup is placed in the kennel from a early age. Same as all lurchers.
