I didn't think you critisized me chief in no way. I will definitley be back on here for as much help as I can get to get the best out of this little tyke that me and the missus are about to recieve I would put the littlun to ground but if she did get smashed up I would be out the door firmly lol!! So Rabbits and Rats its going to have to be. however inferior they are for terriers. Happy Hunting Math

The Reason I wasn't asking for advice on earthwork is basically because the missus would kill me if her little baby got smashed up!! On all Accounts the sire of this litter is the best charlie dog around. He's sired a litter of bitches so whatever she's having is a bitch, in years to come hopefully I'l have a lil menace out of the missus pup and we'l get to do some digging! Right lads and lasses (might I add) in 5 weeks I'm getting a pat cross jrt from a good mate of mine which have proven sire and dam! The pup is actually for my missus because Iv'e already got a 7 month old lurcher to keep my hands full. Now with the permision of the missus I will be taking the pup out next season for some bushing and ratting I know Iv'e got a lot of time on my hands because the pup will be 8 weeks old when I have her! I was just wondering at what kind of age do I start training! I will obviously post at a later date after reading books and so on as to training for bushi

Iv'e got my pup coming on well now she comes straight back to hand on a "here" and Iv'e got her jumping small items like a door on it's side and so on. One problem I got when doing some retrieving work with her is that she will pick the ball up then run around me 2 or 3 times then stand a foot away I walk up to her and she drops it on the floor! I think the running round is exitment and just her being a puppy, hopefully she will grow out of it. Could anyone give me some advice on how to get her to bring to hand? Cheers Happy Hunting

Iv'e got the dvd! It was ok and informative and the whippets coursing were very good but I found it a little slow at times!! Iv'e only seen rabbiting at night of the warreners that was a good dvd as it shows him bringing on a young pup!!

Right back from the vets and glad I went and spent the money!! She has a small ulcer on the roof of her mouth and her glans have swollen so she now has a tempreteure!! She was given a pain killing jab for the tempreteure and antibiotics for the ulcer and glans!! Explains the lack of eating! The vet said that it looks like the ulcer was caused by a cut and she might have it from picking up a stick and splintered!! Anyway she's back on track to healthiness!! and is sure to be ok soon!!!

Right a Update after many measurments of my pup and a few huffs from her by having to keep her still while messing with a measuring tape after my visit to the vets and a proffesional measurment I can now confirm that she is just under 21 inches!! I was measuring to completely the wrong place!! Glad that I now Know she is of a decent size for her age!! I will post pictures of her in the morning as soon as I get the lead for the camera off me dad!! :11: Happy Hunting

Iv'e made an appointment with the vets I dont want to stand round and wait for something bad to happen better get it sorted now if their is something wrong. cheers for the replies guys!!

She's 6 months in 3 days!! She is otherwise healthy yeh!! I wormed her on the 20th of last month!! She usually get's a pound of tripe in the morning with chopped carrot and swede 3 times a week and then a small to average size chicken carcass in the evening after her walk! She's never been a lover of food and would never wolf it down but always eat it all that is why I'm worried. She has got all her second teeth I don't know if they are fully grown yet!! Has anybody got any suggestions or should I pop to the vets?? Cheers for the replies!!

I measured my pup again last night this time properly and she came up 17.5" does anyone think she'l grown any more?? I tried taking photos but the camera is nakard Il get some tonight for sure though!!

Has any one had any trouble with their pups just stop eating for a amount of time for the last 5 days my pup has hardly eat f**k all!! I'm getting a bit worried she used to love her food and now she turns her nose up at everything she wont eat chicken carcass beef tripe Ive even tried dry food which Ive never fed her! she might eat a mouth full then leave the rest it's really starting to bother me now as I thought it might be a mood shes going through!! Should I take her to the vets?? Thanks

TO be honest with you all I'm not sure wether I measured her properly. My mate is coming round to measure her going to fetch my dads cam to take some snaps I'l get them posted asap!! Happy Hunting
