My Lurcher is outside has been since she was born under heating till 6 months now a big thermal bed!! She loves it! My new terrier is inside because shes about the size of my hand and its the missus dog so she'l be staying inside!! I tried putting straw in for my lurcher but she ate loads of it and she was shiting straw so I took it out!!! -
Iv'e heared a bit about this dvd but just wondering where you can get it from any help would be great!! Thanks

just got a training collar for him and its working already,noticed a difference straight away,met a trainer while at crufts,swore by it,so came home lastnite,went for a walk,he kicked off,gave him a short zap,he totally changed,went out this morning,walked within 8feet of ewe and her young un,didnt even look at them,i do know what i have i had one about ten year ago,she was a great worker,but got stole by travellers.will keep you all upto speed on my progress,hope evrything goes a bit smoother,now i can put in some proper training. Congratulations Lamper/G I bet you'l have a awsome dog

My pup went through a fussy stage I just kept putting the same food down for 30 mins every morning and night eventually she just eat and now as soon as I put it down she's straight into it. Took nearly 5-7 days. I wouldnt keep changing though you'l probably end up over a stove every night otherwise making gormet meals Best of Luck!! Math

What you want to do is get some permision and when your about to take him out give the farmer a buzz ask him where his sheep are and if their is anywhere you can work the dog where he wont come accross any. My mate has a half cross bull that was never broken to stock and is two now so can't be worked around sheep he has to ring his permision everytime he wants to go out. Bear in mind he's still 6 months give the pup a chance he might settle down as he gets older. Have you slung him in a pen with a ram yet?? Thats what Id do as a last resort he'l soon stop going for them. Best of lu

You should of come on here asking tips of how to break a pup to stock. I'm sure someone would help. Sorry didn't realise you'd already posted on livestock :whistle: But that was only in the last day or two you should give the greyw a chance IMHO it takes time and paitience to train a dog. :thumbs-up:

It sounds to me like your a quiter. You should give your Greyw a chance first instead of pushing it aside for the kids to play with. If I was a lurcher I know where Id rather be out in the field where they belong. Not playing with some kids. You should of come on here asking tips of how to break a pup to stock. I'm sure someone would help. From what Iv'e heared Greyw's are amazing beasts. Jus give the pup a go mate. :thumbs-up:
