    Sunday 24th June 12 Is the day for the North West Lurcher, Terrier, and Whippet Club Dog show, to be held at Barrontop Fun Farm, Donemana, Strabane, Co Tyrone BT82 OJD . Classes for Lurchers, Terriers, Whippets, Gun Dogs, and family pet show. Showing starts at approx 1.30pm . This is always a very enjoyable and well run show. So load up your Terriers, Lurchers, Whippets, Gun Dogs and family pets on Sunday 24th June and head for Barrontop Fun Farm, Donemana with the family for a great family day out.There will be pets on the farm for the children to see,plenty of goodies in the shop,burger

    Had a very nice relaxing day yesterday at the Sporting Whippet clubs of Northern Irelands 3rd show of the year. Although the rain was not kind to us,it still did not dampen the spirits of the whippet people who turned up to support the show. The show started with the childrens handling class. These little people never cease to amaze me.They all go into that show ring, and walk their dogs with such vigour and pride. In their liitle hearts they ask for nothing in return, only to make their parents proud of them and their little eyes light up with joy if they get a rosette or a trophy. A ver

    Had a very relaxing day last Sunday at the Sporting Whippet show, and really enjoyed the commarardrie that goes with it. The sun shone in all day, and there was a good turn out of whippets.Congratulations to all the winners. Also enjoyed the Dog Matching show last Tuesday evening in Laurelvale Hall. Some lovely dogs arrived at this show, all of different pedigrees . This type of show was all new to me, and took me a while to follow the procedure, but I have to say I really enjoyed it. The Mid Antrim Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet Club Northern Ireland , are pleased to announce, that the Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet 21st show will be taking place at Florence Court Country Fair ,Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh this Sunday 3rd June 2012. This show has been awarded a qualifer for The Countryman Weekly Champions of Champions show to take place at the Midlands Game Fair, at Weston Park,England on the 15th and 16th of September 2012 M

    I do appreciate your views hunt and fish, but to be truthfully honest, anytime I went to Florencecourt, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but that is from a womans point of view. And the reason why I always start a thread on my own is, I do not want to be associated with any criticism of any show no matter where it is. I feel If the organisers put the effort in to organise a show for everybodys enjoyment, then I should appreciate what they have done for me and everyone else at the show. Look how many young children and families enjoy these shows. My policy is, if I cannot write something good about the
