    TALLY HO CHRISTMAS DOG SHOW AND RACEDAY SATURDAY 9th DECEMBER 23 At this time every year we all look forward to our Christmas Dog shows and this year was no different. Saturday morning the 9th December 23 had finally arrived and it was time to load up and head for Ballymena to the Tally Ho Christmas Dog Show and Race Day. As we drove along the motorway, the winds and rain swept us along, and it became evident it was time to get the water proofs on.     The Tally Ho Dog Show and Race Day Sunday 3rd September 23. As the sun broke through the clouds early last Sunday morning, with our dogs fed and watered, we headed off to the city of the 7 Towers, Ballymena and the venue for the Tally Ho Dog Show and Race day. And what a memorable day that was. As we arrived at the venue the atmosphere was electric. Cars and trailers rolled up with dogs in tow and very soon the field was filled to capacity. Nestled in the middle of this beautiful ancient County lies the traditionally rural village of Ballinabrannagh with its very convenient proximity to the M9 motorway.     THE GLENSHANE WORKING DOG SHOW AND RACEDAY SUNDAY 20th AUGUST 23 ( in aid of RVH liver support group ) As dawn broke on Sunday morning the 20th August 23 with a good breakfast in our bellies, we headed off to the beautiful Maghera countryside and the venue for The Glenshane Working Dog Show and Race Day.     FROM THE PEN OF JED DONAGH Right folks, seriously stressful day today, our landowner had no choice but to cancel the field for Sunday,and I can fully understand and respect his reasons,especially after seeing the field last Sunday, but late tonight a gentleman saved the day,so keep watching for the new eircode for the Irish Association of Working Dogs show this Sunday.
