surely the only way you know what your really getting is to get a line-bred dog? anything else is just hit or miss you can never guarantee its going to work!

i agree 50 posts sounds good maybe they should have been a member for atleast a year too, and recommended or rated by atleast 10 members?. one things for sure the donator bollocks doesnt work just makes the site more money. whats more important dogs welfare or how deep your pocket is?? would be good if a mod could make an honest reply to this still waiting :whistling: :whistling:

i take my pups out with the rest of the dogs weather its walkin, pushin stuff out or just a bit of lampin. your pup will only be able to do so much exercise a day id prefer to just take him out the once and make the most of that time with him learning his trade rather than 3 or 4 little walks a day where hes not learnin much atall. socialisation is important but not as important as getting good at what he does and fillin the freezer up. i dont believe in taking it easy with em they will only get stronger by pushing them to there limits, if there too tired theyll sleep if there up and moving

brother over half sister an so on brother over half sister is in-breeding, line breeding is to form a family /strain using one common ancestor normally an outstanding animal in it's field ... race horse, dog, pigeon or budgie ... whatever, can remember reading a great book on the subject... primarily regarding racing pigeons but examples used regard other animals and (though frowned upon)human beings .... thanks folks, you here so much about line bred bullxs seems strange there is nothing ever posted about line bred collie xs, because there not in fashion? what do you think?

if your going for a name dont bother thats all its is, a line bred dog would be far better choice 'true to type and gauranteed to work' spend your time looking mate far better to wait for the right dog than go and pic one out of 40 pups from a breeder

hancock? surely a line bred dog should be bred to type and in turn get better each generation and definatly all work 100%.. i dont think you can say that about hancock dogs as for plummer never seen any work! are they bred to type and for what quarry?

i heard of a few line bred bull xs minshaw, blackwater , pie etc but what about the line bred collie xs what are they and whos got them. thanks awen
