  4. Started of slow but we managed to put a few in the pot.Was a great day but the weather changed and we had to head down to lower ground. The young hobs i had out the other day where working well. Atb shaun
  5. Had a good bit of sport this morning on our usual spot with conner and lewis.Conner had his terrier jnr and i took the pup as the beddy/grey is laid up at the moment(bard wire fence). We tried a few of the smaller sets at the bottom of the land but couldn't get a mark, So we walked on to a nice sett on a hedge row and with the tyke showing a positive mark.We netted up and collared up conner's jill, Took a while to shift them on but the jill had put the first in the bag and soon followed by the second.Moved on up the hill to the bigger setts and started to work our way along putting a couple in

  10. I remember reading on here a while ago about a coursing dog from Scotland called floyd.I have done a search to see if i could find the thread but had no luck.I don't know much about the dog but he was a cracking looking dog.If my memory serves me right he was a black and tan ruff coated dog.Anyone or the owner have any pics of him? The reason for me asking this question is because he was a fine looking animal and read good things on the thread about the dog. Atb shaun
  11. From what you wrote it sounds the same as what happened to a old dog.I bathed it with warm salt water and just light walking she was fine after a 1-2 weeks. Atb shaun

  17. Good stuff like to hear it.Well a suppose it just different opinions from different people. He has been in the house from day one so i have been socializing with him as much as i can.Moving him into the kennel soon as the mutt i have been kennelling for my bro in-law is going within the next week or two.He dose seem to be a smart little dog as i have him retrieving a sock and will sit on Command. He got his second jab there so will have him out and progressing on his training. cheers lads If anyone runs this cross stick a pick up and i will try and sort out a pick of the young'un.
  18. The pup is 5/8grey1/4saluki1/8 collie. The dam was a straight greyhound put to a saluki collie grey. But as i said above never ran anything on with saluki just trying to get a better insight to the cross. cheers wi11ow. Atb shaun
  19. I put this post up a while back and never got a reply so thought i would try again.I got myself a new pup to run on for next season a couple of months back.I was wondering if anyone runs this cross or have seen this cross run. This is the first time i have ever ran anything with saluki in the make up.Have read a few post on here about saluki crosses and training has to be done with a different approach as they can be very headstrong? I am wanting to know what there are like in the field and general obedience. Atb shaun
