  1. I imagine that is the Scottish equivalent of DSC so yes. Is there someone on the estate who could monitor you? You have good reason for the calibre, but the law is fussy about safe and humane shooting of deer. If you have the basic qualification and someone to see you through the first few months you should have no problems.

ATB with the application - you jammy sod. Free .308 indeed.

  2. A year on and 250 rounds down the tube, entered a local comp to see just what a 'multi purpose' rifle can do, came away with small group at 300yds, 0.59" group shot off a bipod, this rifle is a compromise, for Target, Deer and Fox, built with quality parts and put together well (Thanks Rhino Rifles). PV.

    Hoo-boy that's shootin'. :notworthy:

  3. Wonder if Brian May vetted everyone who ever paid to go to his concerts or bought one of his records to make sure they wernt field sport or hunt supporters! f****n two faced double standard pricks made a mint out of millions of people he now has no time for. One word c**t! Just my opinion tho. And I'd have used a driver an done the job proper.

    spot on :victory:

How would you get the fox to sit on the tee peg? B'staards always wriggle off and run for it when I try.

  4. Lurchergrrl - I'm gonna stick my neck out here. The most important principle of British - and Canadian! - justice is "innocent until proven guilty". Now, this lad is clearly a right dodgy piece of work. Stay well clear, make sure your littlies avoid him like the plague. BUT! Don't start any pre-emptive action. Let the law take its course.

OK, now the vigilantes can start screaming for my blood.

  5. tikka m595 is nice if you can find a stainless one. i just sold a tikka t3 stainless in 308 for a mate of mine £350. no one had any interest in it as it was rebarreled by rifle craft with a remmy profile barrel.

it looked a little odd where it met the action. but the guy who had it. done some reloads for it the other day. and said it groups superb.

jewell trigger is abit more then 50 pound though for a remmy action. more like 200 pound

You may well be right. Still worth it though!
