  2. have hunted with harriers from small plantations across the bogs great for them builds up serious muscle, tough going tho, and by golly can they move then once they hit open groung

  5. well thats a good one, its about a year ago i was at a national hunting meeting, the main topic was to get a hunt licence re issued for a majour hunt in the east that the goverment were not willing to issue and one of the top people for SF was backing us all the way at the time. Well if this is the new policy by them i just cant wait to answer the door to them and they will be sent packing fairly fast. When did they come out with this in dublin??

In some of my larsons with a magpie as a call bird i have caught grey(hooded) crows but never the other way around as i can under stand why, will a jay call bird only catch a jay, has anyone caught a jay with a magpie as a call bird? or will they as a ruel not go near a magpie?
  7. humm these jays are in a forestry so the string on a door could be a problem i have set a few larsons with an artifical nest and some free range eggs has anyone caught them like so????

  9. there are very rare in the area im from and never tried to catch them before so john how do you sugest i trap him
