I worked for a pack that always had a dedicated road team, flashing orange lights, road signs, high Viz etc. Always in radio contact and prior discussion with police. With anything, from hunting with hounds to lurcher work....if you play the game the police will leave you alone. My mate went on a big estate with his coursing greyhounds last season, on a vermin day, police knew all about it, paperwork all in order. No issues at all. People are struggling yes. But put a post on Facebook offering free rabbits or pheasant. You will get more abuse than interest. I couldn't even give rainbow trout away. We are in a bad situation alright....not sure if hunger or ignorance is the biggest issue

Our house is more or less kept warm with the log burner, it heats the downstairs quite well including our bedroom. Upstairs the youngest has the chimney breast running through his room and this takes the chill off his room. He's a hot kid, even in winter I need to pull his duvet off him as he gets red hot in bed so I'm not worried about his room. My problem room is the eldests bedroom.....he's a teenager so lives in there and his room is freezing. My summer job is to drop half the ceiling and insulate it ( it's a strange shape dormer room). My uncle Dick fought with the LRDG (my dad's uncle really). Years later his son was with the army air core and flew helicopters for the sas. He took his dad to Stirling lines to meet the regiment blokes and the treated him as an honoured guest. If I see my cousin I'll try and get a photo of the visit

If it's rats and you have no holes in external walls then it's a sewer or drain fault. If you keep hearing them and there is no droppings it could possibly be a wood mouse , they make hell of a noise but don't leave droppings everywhere.

It's fck all to do with under funding or under staffing. There's more doctors and nurses now than ever before. The funding is there. It's the systems that are fcked. Hundreds of pounds to change a light bulb. A local hospital pays 70 grand a year for pest control, for that they get 1 man visit for 1 day a week checking rat boxes and fly killers. On top of this we have just let enough people into the country to fill the city of Liverpool....in one year! Neither labour nor the Tories are going to change this. Cutting down on shite cheap meat and only eating good quality traceable meat and game so I don't get a gut like you and keel over with a clutcher ?? ...... but.....there was chopped bacon on the sprouts.....and..... when we cut into the wellingtons I realised I'd done the wrong ones and these were full of chicken and sausage meat ?
