inresting stuff, wont upset me evry one has there preferd method but if you think uneven ground stops the setting of a quik set your very much mistaken. all you need to do is drop the next peg ever so slightly short so the bottom line sits on the ground. of course the top line will then sag. so you just loop it over the next peg , much the same as a trad net i must say though i do like the old hemp nets. i will quite happily give you £ for one

to be honest miky i didn't know that, always thought merl was just the border, but what you say makes sence. im shure most of the old shepards mixed there dogs up depending on working qualitys . rather than just staying pure for the sake of it. lern sommat new all the time

that dont stop merle dog from perfoming in the field though tomo it just means your not supposed to line merle to merle that is not a defect in any way its simply just a gene clash when 2 merle dogs mate very true micky the merl wont stop them performing in the field, so why dont they perform in the field sorry i couldnt resist i take it you have a hancock merl. i better just mention i have had one , about 20 year ago but come on why line a pupy pedlers pocket. now i remember on this site evtybody getting on that kids case from scotland , who's always selling pups a

thats coming out the next pay check as saves borrowing my mates although it may be wasted wi the amount of earth work the dog gets to do these days never put my dog to ground wi out one anyway just got a quote from a gun room near me £72 for a lightfource striker and £89 for the compatable 18 amp battery....what you think to that price?going to get a few more quotes and see if anyone will price match etc etc £89 for the batterie, feck that girl, do like i say get round the markets, you can pic a cheap batterie charger up for around £10 from most motorst discount shops. by t -
