  1. Yeah I thought so too. At present I plan to keep back a nice Jill for myself as the mother of this lot is my favourite. It will be interesting to see what colours they will be. The rest will be for sale to good working homes
  2. My Jills litter of 7 are coming along nicely, here they are almost 2 weeks old. Growing up so fast!
  3. To be fair mate sometimes I’m not even sure if my jills are actually pregnant until very far on into the pregnancy. Give it a couple more weeks yet and see how she is
  4. I only just used shredded paper for the first time this year for when my Jill’s has had kits. I made sure it was the short cut shred as the longer stuff can apparently tangle them up easily
  5. Healthy and Strong looking kits those mate. My 7 are rapidly putting on weight too. Got sandy over albino so hoping for a nice mix of colours
  6. Had a quick peek when she was eating this morning and confirmed 7 kits now. All the best everyone with your litters and keep us updated on their progress
  7. One of my jills gave birth to what looks like at least 5 kits yesterday, she seems to be doing well and eating which is a relief , I’ll give it a few days and have proper look at how many there are. Plan on keeping a nice Jill back to add to the team all being well. My other Jill looks to be fattening up too but I have a suspicion it’s a phantom. Anyone else had any new arrivals recently?
  8. Thanks for all the replies and potential theories. He settled after about half an hour or so but for a while I thought he’d lost his marbles. I’ll see if he does it again next time, although next time will probably be the last of the season sadly.
  9. Just got back from lamping, had some good runs and catches and usually my dog is sparked out on the sofa straight away after, but tonight he’s doing circuits of the living room, jumping about and generally acting totally hyper. Never seen this before, anyone’s else’s dog do this?
  10. Can anyone just turn up for this mate? Where are the dates and times posted?
  11. I went for the 100mm in the end. I have already put a few runs of it in their cage and they love it, I was worried the Hob would be too big to fit through but I was wrong. Ferrets can practically squeeze through anything!
  12. Sorry for the late reply, I’m just near Malton in North Yorkshire
  13. Good work mate, be good to see her progress
  14. Nice one lads thanks for info, I'm going to go for the 100mm (4") stuff, I will have a scout about and see if there are any building sites chucking stuff out otherwise its only 50 quid for 25m which is plenty!
  15. As the season is almost at an end my mind has turned to kitting out the ferret run with some new stuff to keep them entertained over Summer. I want to put a network of piping and have been looking at the land drainage pipe at the builders merchants near me. Does anyone else use this and if so what diameter are you using? The most common seems to be 100mm but it looks too small. Also are there any different pipe/duct options that people use and if so where do you get them? Cheers
  16. Thanks looks very nice, I'll have a go at that.
  17. Hi All, Just to confirm I can post this rifle (at the expense of the buyer) within the UK. Cheers
  18. Thanks mate, you are right they are fantastic gun, perfect for stocking up the freezer.
  19. FOR SALE: Weihrauch HW95K .177 in immaculate condition. I bought this rifle for my Son's birthday in summer however since then we have got a rimfire and it has not been touched. I have not modified or dismantled the gun at all. I have maintained in with the appropriate cleaners and pull through and it has been stored well. In addition to the rifle I include some 1" scope mounts/rings, they aren't any fancy brand but they did the trick with the Hawke 3-9x50 I had on the rifle. Finally I include a nearly full tin of H&N FTT's which in my experience the rifle loves as well a
  20. Just kibble and rabbits. Try to feed 80% fresh rabbit and supplement with kibble.
