  5. have to add... i never threw her with alot of force (thats the reason they use the noose to hold there head straight) it was more like a fairy throw.lol.the main reason i choose to dart was to save her much needed energy...and it allowed me to choose the slip (y)
  6. i have darted a spar before. not with a noose though,i just basicaly used topick her up of the glove with my right hand,,,i found it handy in a lot of situations. but i only done this with one spar,my other were flown from fist,or occasional a tree.(y)

that avairy sounds ok to me mate so long as the birds fit enough to catch game.there quite happy teathered in a mews.
  9. that makes me sick mate...... if only they would do that with all the cats they have??? the stupid idiots. sorry for your loss fella. have you made a complaint???
  10. i gos would take alot more time to fly than a harris! i would say a male red.good allrounders too, they'll take feather as good as a harris. you cant beat a harris for practicallity. but you cant beat a true hawk for the flights...IMO.
  11. im not after a response im no attention seeker i just love working dogs
  12. well said trigger i totaly agree with you. a pup of any breed should be out as soon as poss. its natural. its made my day know there is someone who thinks like me. common sense is very important in any hunting sport!
  13. beddy x whippet all the way! quite like the look of bull whippets. i would like to see one work on rabbits are they good markers/moochers ??? do they have a good nose??? i cant help thinking of them as just a "charlie dog"
  14. well hope the ducks ok for ya mate, but i bet my wages that that fox will have all the ducks you own.its just a matter of time.as long as there there the fox will find a way. wont be long till it will have cubs to feed aswell.
  15. hope these pics work if not i give up.

  18. hi all i have a problem.i cant seem to put pics up on here.on the attachment editor,it says max upload size 500k.when i browse and upload a pic,an error apears saying its to lagre..... any ideas how i can reduce the size of the image??? thanks in advance
  19. that is weird mate, what bird do you fly?i fly a harris myself.i tend to get more hassle with me dogs than i do with the birds.i dont shoot.but like ya said the people at the bunalow probly assumed you had a gun.a friend of mine once had the police turn up to him in the field, claming he had a crossbow.again that was his telemetry.supose you cant blame them for thinking he was some nutter with a crossbow.but in the end the police actually found his bird.but for them to threaten you well its kinda scary.and i agree telling the police would be the best option.good luck mate.
