  1. Here's mine, cracking breed arn't they
  2. if i work from 9-5 and have a new puppy in the house, id expect it to be full of shit and piss. not unless a 7week old puppy can learn over night not to do it and can hold it in It's not a human baby, I have a young pup and it live outside happily, it would stress the pup unduly if it was expucted to hold itself for a long period in a crate etc.
  3. yeah that was one of my worries TTM The dog looks massive, generally a dog that is spannable is more than likely to fit down a tube, i don't think you have any worries about the dog getting into many rabbit pipes Looks ideal for bushing though mate.
  4. BEAUTIFUL. Should hopefully do well looking at the parents. I'm a sucker for a Patt. good stuff.
  5. Nevermind mate, I'm in kent. Thanks anyway and good luck with the sale. ATB
  6. maybe one i hit with a catapult . terrierised squirrel not my cup of tea. Ferrets loved it though.
  7. She's 3/4 JRT, 1/4 SBT. Doing me proud so far and thinks she's a lion , have to keep her restrained until she's big enough to provide the goods. Gotta love 'em. Plenty more tales to follow i'm sure. Longdog
  8. It might sound obviouse but please everyone, check to see why your dogs are barking before you shout to them, I've learn't from experience. Sounds patronising but i don't mean it that way. So many stolen dog posts mention shouting to the dogs to be quiet, then the dogs go. Good luck with the search mate, i think i can safetly that all our thoughts are with you mate.
  9. They certainly do, it held on to Ronnies' lip until it's final breath. Hard little buggers.
  10. I may be able to help you out with some ratting locally, how old is your pup? I'll have to clear it with the farmer as his house is very slose to the Hopper. Should be fine, Let me know mate.
  11. I went for a walk around our local woods today to excersise the Patt and Pup. there is some low growth with old copicing and the patt treed a Grey squirrel, after some sweet talking the grey decided to try a jump it wasn't destined to make, it then chose to try and outrun Ronnie, The patt, It lost, The pup was allowed to approach the grey only after it was 'really dead', no nasty suprises for the young un'. After some convincing she took to worrying the carcass impressively and even managed to crunch the bones! I think, nay hope, this a sign of good things to come. Fingers crossed.
  12. nor me i dont think i`d have even posted this .. I could be wrong, and feel free to correct me, but i don't think there is anything illegal about killing ferral cats? Technicalities of how may come into question.?
  13. Bit of a sweeping statement there fella, it's more a case of each to there own, we have a very varied landscape in the UK. Heres a pic of my Patty, far from large atjust under 12" NICE TERRIER LONGDOG NUTTALL LINES? Spot on goldfinch2007, ,she's a diamond, very rarely gets herself hurt, and a blinder at bolting tough stubborn reds. Hoping the pup will be harder due to the recent bull infusion. Wanted a slightly harder dog to back up the patt. looking good so far.
  14. her's my hopefull for next year, 3/4JRT 1/4SBT, she's only 9weeks here, showing great character and follows my Pattie every move, time will tell methinks.

  16. hi mate, No close season for me fella, pest control for the local farms, gotta keep it up. I just go easier on the target species, don't wanna do meself outta work :secret:
  17. i used to own a straight bull and he always seemed to be spot on with his scenting, 'he never got to ground, he was a monster!' he tracked very well, and marked up consistantly. I've a Patt with bull ten gens back and she's like lighting when it comes to finding, and always spot on if she indicates a den is empty, it always is.
  18. Is it a terrier or ferret collar? Genuinly interested. PM me
  19. Would you be able to post these? What meke/ model?
