Did you see what happened in Nevada this week ? The government had a dispute with a rancher and confiscated some of his cattle; over 1000 people from far and near came to support the rancher, armed to the teeth and marched on the pens where the cattle were; the government shit themselves and released the cattle !! Public dissorder and open revolt COULD happen here in our lifetime ! And what will we go armed with? Don't need to be armed. General Strike, fuel blockades , motorway go slows, etc, plenty ways to bring a government down without violence. -

He's not a tory, he's labour , and he is aiming for the safe labour seat, 20000 + majority at the last election.He'll walk in unapossed as there are still plenty places in the north west and the north east where the people will vote labour "because me da did" !! He has nothing whatsoever in common with working class people, but the idiots will still vote for him because he's "labour".......... -

Yes, the Conservatives had the most MPs but not an overall majority . Rather than try to form a minority government or have another general election, they chose to throw away everything a true conservative, (big or small "c"), believes in, and invited the lying, pro EU LibDems into a coalition party ! The LibDems were a distant third in the election, and, in a democracy, have no right to have people in a position of power ! On Daily Politics today it was said that foreign investors are treating London property as the new international currency; a far safer investment than stocks and shares, safer than money in a bank and guaranteed growth. No wonder young Brits can't get on the property ladder, especially in London !!!

I assume you're from Ireland, a bankrupt country that voted to leave the EU but was ordered to vote again and again until it got the result that the EU wanted? A country whose banks were on the verge of collapse and who was the first to step in with loans to save them ? Of course it was the UK, bailing you out with money we had to borrow !! Sink SHOULD be fastened to the wall, and just be resting on a free standing pedastle, easy to remove,and, once again far easier to tile.

The cistern shouldn't fall down if it was fitted properly ! LOL ! Best to remove the toilet, much easier than tiling round it. If it raises the toilet to much to reconnect, there are offset connectors to reconnect it back to the waste pipe. Stop being a tight Scot and pay someone to do the job properly, you know it makes sense !!

All kidding aside, good tilers are like gold! I tried doing my own once, and had to get a professional in to put it right ! Good luck, and I may be wrong, but isn't it "Flemish Bond". ?

Rents in London are so high because the dole let landlords charge what they wanted to people on housing benefits, not just London but all over the country. You had Pakis renting their properties to family for outrageous rents and the tax payer picking up the bill . Now there is a cap, these land lords will have to drop the rents to a more acceptable level or have empty properties. The man on the dole or the sick didn't make money out of housing allowance, it was unscrupulous land lords! And why should anyone out of work make more than someone working for a living ?
