  1. Thanks guys! Great work so far, those anti feckers have theirs up a week, us just 48 hours, we're catching up! Were at - 357 Anti's at - 824
  2. Thanks everyone for the effort, any ideas on how to get more numbers? The Anti's have managed over 100 extra votes this evening alone, they have a very good network on twitter and facebook. We're behind them in that way. Does anyone know someone well known on twitter who could send out a tweet or two of encouragement with the link to vote on.
  3. if the greyhound coursing people would stop wrecking people,s car,s and stand by us as one this petition would be full by now. I'm not a coursing follower, I'm personally into shooting, It's just that these animal rights extremists won't stop at just coursing, they even want fishing banned. I agree 100% with you, everyone needs to stand by one another against these extremists, I didn't realise there was friction or whatever going on with some elements of the coursing fraternity but anything other than solidarity in all fieldsports is out of order.
  4. Thanks Lads, we're at 50 signatures now, unfortunately its going a liitle slow, can we up it a bit, it only takes a few seconds. Here's our petition, https://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/limerick-racecourse-do-not-listen-to-animal-rights-extremists-continue-to-support-coursing-in-ireland-for-the-sake-of-the-irish-hare#share Here's the Anti's, https://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/limerick-racecourse-stop-hosting-cruel-hare-coursing as you can see they're way ahead at the moment, lets show them!
  5. Hope its OK to post this here. ICABS (Irish Council against Bloodsports) are a constant thorn in our sides, trying to get coursing and everything else banned in Ireland. We have setup a new petition to counter theirs which is trying to get Limerick Racecourse to stop allowing coursing. https://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/limerick-racecourse-do-not-listen-to-animal-rights-extremists-continue-to-support-coursing-in-ireland-for-the-sake-of-the-irish-hare?utm_campaign=twitter_link&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=share_petition Thanks lads in advance and please get everyone
  6. Was it a Webley & Scott? I know some Belgium guns were the fold up type poachers guns. Rimfire too.. I'm just interested in some of the more obscure bores, do you know if anyone is using 14b or 24b anymore, I still use a 16b for game shooting.
  7. Wondering if anyone is using one these, I had one back in the 's. It was a Webley & Scott bolt action, used it on rats and jackdaws in a big barn. I think the shot size was 10. Apparently it was also called a Bullfinch gun and used a lot in apple orchards in the West country when small birds were eating the scrumpy buds!
  8. Great to see people in the UK have working teckles, I'm looking for a pup at the moment, needs to be from a working strain close to continental bloodlines. Please give me a shout if anyone knows of a litter.
  9. Using Norma 6.5x55 120gr on deer, compared to Rem. 139gr or Lapua 156gr the deer drop on the spot! It also has a much flatter trajectory.
