    OK fair play flick, when do you think the cut off should be for breeding a bitch for the first time? Just for future reference and to help other members. FTB I'd say there is no hard and fast 'cut off'. Each man should know their own bitch....if she's super fit, having regular seasons and wil get the best of care, then obviously, the risks are minimal. However, if you're not sure about the age of the bitch ("at least 8" ) and she's not having regular seasons and is not in the very best of health, the cut of point would be a lot earlier. I was 11 and very into dogs, but hadn't actually owned my own. He was very game but soft as butter with me. Have always had terriers from the same chap....I'm 37 now. You seem to have nicely avoided Hedz question... Do you work your terriers? If so what to. If you expect anyone to take you seriously you should at least give them that. No one asked your age. FTB

    It took you 15 minutes to come up with that Listen sugartits, I would rather breed my terrier at 8 years old knowing that she has proven herself to me time and time again that she is worthy, than at 3 years old coz her fannys fresh and 'the kennel club' say its the ideal age to have 'puppies'.     I haven't noticed a great difference. You dig foxes when the weather is right for it. The more you are out the more success you have. I think that is more important as I have dug foxes in all kinds of weather. Even the days where you think nowt will be to ground. I dug 5 on an estate 3 weeks ago when it was 15 degrees and not a whisper of wind!     I can't remember the last time I put up a decent thread, and this has been one of my best seasons. Out 2,3,4 or more days a week digging. At the end of the day I have more to loose than I have to gain by putting up posts and pictures. I think as the forum is so open to anyone there is NO point putting up pictures even if its totally legal. Your words can and will be twisted and your pictures used against you so why bother. Would not bother me in the slightest if this terrier section completely vanished. I am as proud as anyone about what I do and what my dogs do,that's beside the point.

    Verry well said Barry. The lurcher section is as bad if not worse than the terrier section. I have always said a zero tolerance policy should be used aginst those doing more harm than good, step out of line, immediate ban. Boils my piss to see the amount of idiots in the sport. FTB
