  1. i know about 4 families by me who have patterdales as pet dogs and all they do is moan about them. barking, digging the garden, biting the furniture etc. should have got a labrador.
  2. looks like every one knows as much as me about cork terriers, fu*k all haha.
  3. ive heard a lot about these on the forum. are they russells, or cross russells, or russells with a touch of sealyham in ? the photos ive seen would suggest a lot of russell in the breeding.

  5. a good border collie cross staff (bitch), evil little bast*@ds, they dont take any prisoners. my mate had one and best guard dog ive ever seen.

  11. 20 years waiting for a dog ? there is loads of terriers in the black country, and folk who work them. bilston is a place for terriers if you look for them. wolverhampton, wednesfield, cossley, tipton, birmingham etc. just ask in any pub for a pet terrier, someone will give you a bit of help........buy your dog of pets4homes lol.

  13. hi all. many years a go i read one of plummers books and he mentioned this cross. out of curiosity has anyone seen one and was they any good. im not a huge fan of plummer but this cross has always stuck in my mindd and to be honest it does seem an interesting cross.

I would'nt even mention the 2 of them in the same sentence,the Wheaten is a far far superior working terrier and has been proven so right down through the years. i understand that the wheaten is a superior worker. the only wheatens ive seen is from the show variety and to be honest the heads are very weak. i mentioned the glens becouse the head structure is more like a staffs and looking at the photos of working wheatens the heads seem to be the same structure of the glens. its a shame that they are becoming less common.
  15. looking at photos of working wheatens, the head shape looks the same as a glen of imaals ?. Are the wheatens a larger version of the glens ?.
