I tried it, doesnt work...I could never make hens go to sleep either by putting their head under their wing but I hear it's possible, and my technique was flawed!!

No, John keeps very good teckels from very good European lines but I thought maybe not what sambo is after, but as you say the breeding is there...be a poor teckel wouldn't bush a rabbit!

Spinning a sliver of mackerel belly has been about the best for me on the estuary... And then sandeel. Don't strike on the first pull, wait for the second. Great fish, great sport

Nothing wrong with a bit of space exploration...But $100 million dollars could do so much more, there are kids in every town, in every city in every country in the world with absolutely nothing...And more dying from cancer and other diseases...It doesnt make sense

Good to see ferrets being kept well Years ago an old greyhound man beside who is dead now, kept his in an outhouse inside a tea chest with a sheet of tin and a brick on the top - I always felt bad for those old ferrets, fed on eggs, bread and milk..., he kept them in the dark so they could see underground.....

Its not hard to keep the ferrets on meat without too much hassle - A good regular cleaned hutch without excess rabbit lying in it for days shouldn't attract flies...Put the meat in at night and take whats left out in the morning. As for dry cat food, you might as well give them weetabix, its probably better!

I was about an hour from alicante a few years ago bored out of my brains and one morning met a few lads in a pick up unloading hound types and other whippet looking dogs, I spoke to them as best I could I they let me tag along! I didn't come home till dusk, my Mrs thought I got abducted!!

Nik Wax wash in - They are the only trousers I have never took the knackers out of getting over wire when lamping, they have a heavy bit sewn in to protect your danglys!

I hooked this one on the fly rod in a harbour and he went under a boat a few times before I got him into the drop net! I released him after the photo

I have eaten river & sea Mullet, I haven't found a difference - Great sporting fish, totally underrated!
