    thanks rob, shall do that, they are really tame and seem to want to get on my shoulder all the time . might sound daft but I am a bit scared of hurting/offending them in some way and making them bite.... was shown this morning how to pick them up and they really wernt bothered at all "ouch" as ive named her is a little more scrambly than the other. Just boiled a egg to feed them and have put a tennis ball in there aswell to give them somthing to do. Is it normal for them to drink alot in the morning? When i wake them up for there breakfast they seem to drink alot before they have even had

    thank you for the tips, I am still a little nervous of sticking my hand straight in there and my fella is going to show me how to go about it this weekend when hes home. Luckily these kills like to come to you, they will just climb out on to your arms. They really are very tame, the ladie i got them off was lovley and they were so quiet with her. I supose it is just like a dog really, takes you both time to get to know one anouther. They really are entertaining, had one like a hungry hippo this morning, she would pop out her bed, grab a bisquit and then reverse back in. How much do you all

    there is also thousands of different species that grow to a size thats too big for most tanks but i dont hear you shouting off about them plecs channel catfish syno decorus catfish columbian shark snakehead texas cychlid (only grow to 8 inches max)oscars vegetarian pirhana (pacu or silver dollar?) are just a few fish i've seen grow to enormous sizes but yet they are sold for household tanks so why all the fuss about this one particular fish? although non of those fish grow quite as big as yours...fish you should have listed would be giant gourami, shovelnose, arowana etc etc.i

    just got myne the other day, got a black eyed white jill called "ouch" coz she nipped me not long after she arrived(my own fault as otherwsie silly tame) but still struggeling for a name for this little jill, shes very sweet and not as much of a pest as the other one haha

    can i just ask why this poticular fish? There are thousands upon thousands of diffrent speacies available yet you are encouraging people to go for a fish that is totally unsuitable for the average fish tank!

    A year old mate does it hurt when they bite you? is it like a pup nip? ah I shall have a look on ebay now not really, it didnt get a proper hold...its not as bad as being bitten by a budgie (used to work in a pet shop) those fuckers clam down hard lol

    yeah is it just what they do with strange people as they were really calm when there old owner was here then were hyper when she went? I like the name honey, defonatly considering that one. Defonatly calling the white one ouch just still not sure about the other though she is defonatly the less dominant of the two

    yeah, struggeling for names though? never named a animal for years, my lurcher was just named after her mother coz i couldnt think of anything else. Think i might name the white one "ouch" coz the bugger bit me 5 minutes after i got it lmao

    Just got these two half an hour ago, my first ever ferrets, already been bitten by one but it was my own fault to be honest. They are very tame and are so funny to watch. They were scoffing bisquits as soon as i put them in.

    i will have a look at them but my tank is not waaaaay too small for them i have a 6x3x3 tank and a 3x1x3 tank both are big enough for any fish available at 90% of pet shops sorry mate, dont mean to be rude but I am qualified in animal management specialising in fesh water fish,chemistry and biology with two years experience in the trade....i think i know what I am talking about heres a short article from a very famous aquarist http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?sid=646 I would just like to state that if you stuffed a dog in a kennel way too small for it there

    Ive had the gause shoved up my nose, its like a giant tampon and it wasnt pleasent...although i didnt break myne i had a blood vesel burst for no aparent reason when i got up out of bed, bled for what must have been about 6 hours atleast very heavily (we ran out of kitchen and toilet role) and left me with a hole in my nose about 5mm long which had to be corterised...got to go in the air ambulance though and felt like i was pissed with the blood loss
