    Yes,..G.S Waters is The Master when it comes to Body grippers.... He taught me lots of things about trapping.... Personally,.I seldom use the Cony Bear type traps these days and instead,.I favor the Kania... I understand your concerns regarding the cost of this unique tool..££££..     Good advice there from 'proper job'... Actualy,.most Mustelines are fairly easy to trap... They suffer from an incredible 'curiosity' and have little or no bait shyness,.and this is generally their downfall... Personally,.I prefer to use the Kania 2000 Trap,...its the DADDY...     Hi T F,...yes,.you can modify the triggers in several ways,.even use 'coni Pans' to give the rodent somewhere to place his feet or nose,. You can even attach a bit of bait onto the triggers,..NO,.its not that the 116 is overkill,.its more to do with the jaw spread. The 55 is slightly narrower and hopefully ensures a cleaner kill Try MAKING the target species approach your traps from the front .....avoid 'foul catches' All the best,..CHALKWARREN..
