    am getting staypress trousers in for me crufts debut see if me pal lend me his blue saluki cause oquite a stir lol cant imagine you in staypress rich,lol and they dont allow making rollies in the ring staypress in cream le chameau without a dot of much immaculate groomed dogs etc all a far cry from our normal days out ehPP lol all good fun though lol

    People go on about best dog etc most times its simply an average dog having a good day, every dog has its day etc true consistency still the hole grail and no arab or whiteman can come up with that conclusively, not one many try many fail, not many men truly run their dogs to that top standard, say maybe 50 real dog men,and a lot less real dogs n bitches between em rest of us simply enjoy it, long may it continue ....

    Having the very best is a massive claim to make, however ambiguous that claim is, my view of best is two dogs slipped by independent slipper on permisson first light, once they out there all the fancy chat, theories papers all out window, three weeks notice suffice for me, bird could do with the exercise.......

    I see the grand course includesslipping more than one dog on quarry, end of debate for me, seriously doubt even the best whippet could match saluki hare for hare aint got the feet or stamina for the longer haul

    Two very different types of sighthound, neither is ultimately better than the other, their will be top class whippets and top class saluki ,, very different attributes but both serve a purpose and are enjoyed so thats summat is there any footage of the grand course, read about it online and in books, love to go there one day too watch it, heard a saluki called darius done well in it , fair play tonthe whippets for winning as well, hard terrain for certain

    Am pretty sure. Read the book you mention they run scrub and desert they dont get the excellent diet our browns get they also rely more on cover due to terrain they run em on

    The hares youse run not a patch on browns performance wise, therefore the whippet may get in quick and get a kill, over here ifvthey dont get in early kill they get smoked
