Tell your landowner he can keep the deer, the rabbits and fox and find someone who not a tightassed twat .Doing the vermin for free down here more than entities anyone to shoot the deer for free .Or just shoot them whilst on on duties on humane grounds of course .

Never thought about it like that.

  4. Went back yesterday and they decided it was the mod being pushed down by the sight at the end of the barrel so popped the top off the sight and said it was now straight. Not been out yet will go in the morning. Thing is when they sighted it in in the shop using a tool with a grid on they put in the end of the barrel the elevation on the scope was cranked as high as it would go with out the mod on. When I tried it it was still 18 inch low and no room to move. Im not expecting any improvement but will try in the morning and then take it back again. They said next step was to try another scope but all 3 of mine ive tried work perfect on my other rifles so not holding out any hope that will work either.

  5. Hi all, after some advice please, Just brought a 10-22 new and having a nightmare zeroing my scope in. Have tried 3 different scopes thinking they might be the problem but have all worked fine on my other guns so sure it cant be the scopes. Its basically firing super low and i run out of clicks to bring it up. I started at 55 yds then down to 25 and then 10 but even at 10 its massively low. What am I doing wrong?

  6. Dogs run on because of their hunting instinct not their balls! Whoever takes him on knows they cant breed from him so why would it be an issue in 5yrs time? My mam used to say, If tha's nowt nice to say keep the gob shut young un.

Looks a trim, healthy dog. I would love to take him on but I have 2 terriors and a lab at the min so I dont think I could give another dog enough time. Its not an easy descision giving up a dog, best of luck with the sale Polkey. Sorry cant help you at the min.

    Thank you

  7. OK, Im reluctantly selling my dog due to work commitments that have increased over the season and sadly it aint going to change, i could go on but I wont dribble. Also since I moved where I live a couple of years back its clear there are no fing rabbits anywhere.

I bought this dog as a pup to work him not just as a pet and that is what I want for him other wise Im just a big hypocrite.

He is a good honest fun dog to be around. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. All the basics are spot on, walks great to heel, recall is good and he retrieves naturally. He doesn't jump as iv'e not taught him but when he feels like it he has no probs so with training he will be fine if thats what you want. He is obedient and very clever. 26 to the shoulder and was 2 on 5th Feb 2015

Re work so far, he has done very little. I had him out ferreting the end of last season a few times once he was 12 months old and he has been out only half a dozen times this season. He is switched on, great around nets and pins rabbits with out crunching. I wanted to start him lamping but due to time and a lack of rabbits its not happened but he is more than ready for it and I would love to know that he has gone on to do so.

He is a good honest dog with no issues at all and will make some one a great working dog and companion, he lives in when we are in and in the kennel when we are out.

If you are interested then please be honest. At risk of causing offence (but the dog comes first im afraid), if you turn up and youre a chav you will be sent packing, if you are not settled, live with your mum, are stoopid or a wrong un you will be sent packing. Im looking for a good honest dog man/woman who puts there dogs first. Please don't bother if you don't have the work for him either, he is £200 and im in County Durham.

Any questions then you know what to do and please no messers!

  8. i have one, 18 months now, can't fault him so far, looking forward to the season ahead, Been easy to train, great in the house, family, kids etc. Personally didn't see Hancocks place looking bad, was clean and well kept. Iv'e seen some right shit holes looking at litters before, gardens and kennels loaded with shit, kitchens not much better. One place I went to had so much shit in the garden i was shocked, never seen anything like it.

If you look at the way animals are intensively farmed in this country so you can all happily buy your cheap burgers and chickens from Asda then you look at how Hancock breeds dogs I think its unfair to be hating on them. There not pumping out puppies non stop out of the bitches they have but it's a business at the end of the day. Most the cloths on your back amongst may other things would have been made in countries where people are paid a pittance that they can hardly survive on, they live in squalor yet we happily support it by buying cheap cloths, etc and never give it a second thought. Slagging Hancock off is hypocritical when you look at what your money pays for day to day and what you are contributing to.
