  1. at the risk of getting laughed / shouted at, why not teach the kid how to do it properly, we all started some where and if he is taught to do it properly theres less chance of injuring animals that were not the target, not only that if mrs bunny hugger sees that it just gives them more ammo against us. (but saying that if you feel he's such a nob that he wont learn ignore me as i dont know the kid
  2. i know the feeling, i have had all sorts of refusals, from people paying for shooting rights to threats of violence,
  3. there is only one butcher in my area i have found that sells rabbit, he sells it fressed for £1.99 and buys them in for £1.00, i still cant get permission to snare any where so there no chance of me making a killing selling rabbit )

  7. Jack wakes up with a killer hangover after attending his firm's Christmas Party. He doesn't even remember how he got home. It's 8.30. What day is it? Thursday. His wife must have gone to work. As he struggles into consciousness through the fog of a pounding headache, his stomach plummets as he wonders what the hell he did last night. And, next to them, a little vase of sweet peas, freshly picked from the garden. He sits up. The bedroom is clean and tidy, - th
  8. thanks for the advice i called the police and have been told to just stay away from his land, that way i am not putting myself in danger. nothing they can do as its my word against his
  9. sorry for the delay have been at work, well i went back and asked for my snares got told to f__k off, then got threatened with a shot gun and told that if i ever entered his land again then he would call the police and report me for traspass. dont need the grief so i am now looking for some where else to snare but most replies i get are "its the wrong time of year" or come back in the winter when the brambles have gone" i didnt know ther was a wrong time of year for catching dinner thanks Tony
  10. it is the farmer taking them!! i laid another 5 last night and watched them for a couple of hours with no joy then just as i was about to leave up he walks and pulls them up says he wants them for another part of the farm? why not just tell me to snare there? i asked if i could have my snares back but no joy so needless to say i wont be going back there
  11. well i found a farmer willing to let me try my snares out i set them last night as best as i could, well its the first time i have done it and went to check on them this morning only to find that all ten snares have walked i asked the farmer and he says he has not had them, it took ages to make them as well yes they were all pegged down propley
  12. yes thanks have read those and made loads of notes, have been out today to see a couple of farmers to ask permission 1 told me in no uncertain terms to stay off his land and the other one offered to "rent" the rights to trap and snare on his land? is this normal? would still like to see it being done and be taught how to do it properly even if i have to travel
