all nets are made to order so can be any size u want and they are step out nets that make for better pursing action.

 

also available is poke nets which are pegged at both ends for an extra 20p per net

i just want to know how to finish my net of by tying onto the second ring. i would be more than happy if u could send a thew pics aswell.

just want to no if people who catch foxes with lurchers inject there dogs with anti biotics if been bitten by fox.if u do wer do u get your stuff from.

[hob wanted as a stud]

Has anyone got a hob as a stud around the nottingham area i can borrow.i will prefere a black eyed white ,silver or sandy as my jill ferrets have come into season and i wanted to breed them for the last time.

has anyone read the book "more tales of the old poachers" and what is it like.Was considering getting it at chatsworth this year but dont want to be wasting my money .

[A Bird in the Hand]

Ive just finnished reading "A Bird in The Hand" by doxhope off this site.Its a book about young Bill who grows up in a Northumberland town surrounded by countryside and Birds.Bill introduces us to a hole host of old time bird trappers and breaders who show young Bill the ways of the Bird catcher of old.Its full of usefull info and tales of bird catching with nets,traps and lime.

Its a hell of a read(i couldnt put the bugger down)and i would recommend it to anyone remotely interested in British birds.

Its a credit to ya Bill

 

does the book tell u how 2 catch birds with traps , nets and lime and does it have pictures on the different ways of catching them.The other day i went out with a ringer whilst on work experiance who uses a mist net but we didnt have any look.

hi mate u can not breed father/daughter, brother/sister,or mother/son as this breeding is too close and will produce defective kits.
