In 24 hours .....I cant see how thats possible.....the driving alone must be about 12 hours......and if im not wrong the summit of Ben Nevis they say allow 6 hours.......good luck to you mate .......id imagine you lose a bit of the enjoyment and it becomes a straightforward challenge race type thing when putting time scales like that on.....id feel the need to keep knobbing about taking pictures and doing peaceful deep breathing exercises

Thanks very much chaps .....Its something id probably have laughed at as a younger man but the older we get the more new challenges arise that we never really gave thought to previously and its always good to test ourself.............one day id like to be able to have the knowledge to do something like that without taking my own food ......but as a beginner to this lark i,ll keep my goals realistic You Scots might have shit football to watch up there but you certainly make up for it with that scenery.....stunning !!

Nutrition wise i had a fair idea of what id get away with i had a combination of meal replacements and re-hydrated army ration type stuff it was actually a good fella off here that put me in touch with a great place for the mre,s......its amazing how nice a beef curry or chocolate chip dessert can taste out of a packet And yes Scothunter no problems with the water.....been back 5 days now and everythings normal

Just to say thanks to the good folk off here who gave me help and advice i got back off my little trip Tuesday last week it was a piece of cake really nowhere near as bad as i thought it might be.....the weather was great which helped obviously and thankfully id planned my route well enough not to get into too much bother.....i lost 12 lb in weight over the week which i was told to expect anyway,the only factor i probably underestimated a bit was the sheer boredom to the point where i was having full blown conversations with full stops and comma,s with myself !!........The beauty and sense of

Id say the gap between England and Germany/Spain is pretty much the same as the gap between Scotland and England,hence the comparison.......sure more often than not they will beat us,just like the 1 loss in 11 games proves more often than not England will beat Scotland ..........how that equates to being " much the same " as you believe they are,i dont know !

Cant be arsed to check but id guess around 11 games.....making it about 8 wins a couple of draws and 1 loss....... What a daft statement to make !.....Scotland have beat England once in the last 30 years,in the years since they last met the English league has become stronger than it was then and the Scottish league has become worse......virtually none of the Scotland first team play for the top clubs......virtually none of the Scotland first team match up player for player with the England first team...................................what possible reason is there to think there " wouldnt be much in it " between the 2 squads.

We had 2 battles with the Germans last century,1 battle with the Argies 30 years ago.....................................................................Bannockburn I think 700 odd years is long enough for the dust to settle dont you .....But then i suppose when you never have a lot to shout about you have to remember these little victories that everyone else has long forgot

Subconsciously we all route for one team or another when watching as a neutral for any number of reasons thats just the nature of watching competetive sport.........so im a high and mighty unpatriotic person because im not all bitter and twisted towards Scotland a nation who has never done me any harm and a place and people i infact quite like ..................i think gr ch is right....its almost like you Jocks try to create something thats not really there just so nobody completely forgets about you .

Just wondered if any of you footie chaps are going to the Euros ?.....could maybe meet in a boozer for a few jars and act stupid,normally at these tournaments they give you designated pubs so shouldnt be too difficult to find one another........im only going to the 2 games in Donetsk not doing the middle one in Kiev...........and maybe,possibly,hopefully 1,2.....or even 3 games after the group stage. What about you Micks anyone going ? Your games are closer together than ours i think theres only 3 or 4 hours between your 2 grounds.......but still think id prefer Ukraine to Poland .....cert

Maybe you should go to a football match occasionally and understand what " support " means.........i wouldnt go to a match Scotland was taking part in unless England was their opponents but id certainly route for them on the telly whoever they was playing...........thats not " supporting " them.........so im not very patriotic because id route for Scotland in a game against Japan ...................i think you Jocks are trying a little too hard with this " hate the English " thing and i think it bothers you that we dont particularly hate you back

Well id class myself a real football fan and i have no desire to see Scotland get humped whatsoever.......i follow my club wherever they go and despise our rivals with a passion in every way possible.........but international football rivalry is just not about football......would England class the Argies or Germany as rivals if we hadnt had wars with them of course we wouldnt.................i have nothing against the Jocks but if yous hate us so much that you class us as rivals then maybe that says more about the Scottish mentality than it says about football rivalry.

Im obssessed with Scotland ......I havent seen you talk about " teams in the competition " as you put it...all ive seen you talk about is England........ .Im not deflecting anything,im simply saying if you Scots showed as much passion for your own game as you do about pulling England apart you might just get somewhere.......the premier league in Scotland got an overall average attendance of 13,000 last year......thats 4,000 less than our Championship league got and you only have 12 teams for f**k sake !!.....and never mind 60,000 how many Scottish teams can fill 15,000 seater stadiums.....2 !

Good stuff and i certainly wouldnt question your expertise on the subject as the proofs in the pudding so to speak.....and certainly better to have something a little over engineered than a little under of course.......as regards which type of dog would test a collar more im sure some of these big bull crosses are far stronger than a pure bulldog.........but on a yard of multiple dogs a bulldog is often stressing a collar for 20 - 24 hours per day 7 days a week 52 weeks a year,not just a few hours per day out in the field.......from what ive seen of your collars they are strong,compact and dur

Only just watched the fight this morning....what a fantastic performance i thought Froch fought perfectly he put it on Bute from the start and was just too intense,i really admire Froch he is what we English love.......he,s not a particularly skillful or talented fighter....he,s none too graceful and certainly has a lot of technical faults......but by f**k does that boy have desire and a will to win its so refreshing to watch a fighter like him wear his heart on his sleeve and put everything on the line with no fear of losing fights i think he,s a great example to the young fighters coming thr
