  1. An aviary isnt safe enough you mean ?.....when i kept birds i found bits of a bird on the floor that had clearly tried to be dragged through centimetre square mesh what should bird lads do only keep them in indoor cages ?
  2. I disagree i think it is a South London thing they just have no respect for property this is a mob who were infamous for trashing their own areas during the footie stuff of the 80's remember.....my sister and her ex husband had a pub round the corner to this one and it was constant......i like to think us over the river would at least take it outside like proper chaps should but they have a safety in numbers attitude in my opinion, neither of these 2 actually wanted to fight as i found out by how easy it was to split them up !
  3. That was the ONLY reason mate....im no Mother Theresa so no problem with the lads scrapping and im certainly no knight in shining armour come to save the day type....but you cant just stand by and watch young girls trying to part grown men like you say,ive got a daughter.
  4. Then it is just South Londoners then......they was trying to take a " the girls should of stood back,we settle things ourselves round here " attitude......which is all well and good but no c**t pulled the girls back either......bunch of scruffy c**ts. " just one quick drink its not like it used to be " he says !
  5. Heres the scenario.......you're in a pub you're not overly familiar with in an area you dont often frequent......a fight kicks off between 2 reasonably capable fellas, tables flying etc......every single punter stands there watching and nobody apart from the 2 young girls in their teens/20's behind the bar attempts to split them up,one of who cops an elbow in the face.........you step in dragging them apart ( on your own ) telling one to f**k off that way and the other to f**k off the other way........order restored. You go back to your drink and 10 minutes later a couple of people come ov
  6. Even if they might be trying to kill a mans pride and joy ? some of these chaps put a lot of time and effort into their birds....in my opinion they're entitled to do whatever it takes to protect them.
  7. When i use the phrase " lads like you " im referring to leavers of course, fans who wanted the move......having spoke to loads over the last few years im seeing a distinct pattern so i'll ask you the same mate. In your heart of hearts are you kicking yourself about the move now ?......having gone from a little club you liked to a big club you dislike , in hindsite do you regret the club moving and everything that comes with it ?
  8. 0.10 seconds in......" groups of men WIELDING flags ".......not holding them but WIELDING them Dictionary meaning for " WIELD " = to use as a weapon or tool.........thats the Guardian !

    Snooker

Ive always been a decent Pool player but just cant make the adjustments to Snooker as young lads we used to go to an all night Snooker hall over Bermondsey way it would be full of Chinese taxi drivers betting fortunes on games......being as how popular the game is with them it always surprised me taking so long to see top Chinese players but a few seem to be coming to the front now. Neil Robertson thats him.....not sure how it works with qualification dont they have to build up ranking points or something to automatically qualify, always seemed a top player that lad. I always like to

    Snooker

Because he doesnt toe the line of respectability.....thats one of them awards only the squeaky clean get. Ronnie has to be favourite though id imagine that Shaun Murphy chap is in with a shout....wheres the Australian geezer his name escapes me but he's normally there or thereabouts.....must admit i dont get into it until about the quarter finals.....always fancied going to The Crucible just not sure i could sit still and quiet long enough, anyone else been ?
  11. No way can Fury pull out now he'd literally have to go and live in a cave for the rest of his life.
  12. Comes to something when the most " normal " person in it was a tranny ! Wish they wouldnt drag these things out into a series when a normal 90 minute film would suffice.
  13. The way plod are told to police these type of events is so predictable its almost funny.....deployed in full riot gear, provoking crowds into a reaction, purposely blocking routes all to stop some white people waving flags and celebrating their day......contrastingly,when do you ever see this type of policing on a Saturday Pro Hamas hate march,Just Stop Oil or any of the other lefty socialist groups Palestine/Gaza etc etc all fully orchestrated for mainstream media to suit their " far right " narrative, disgraceful two tier policing.......we was brought up to fear/respect police....sadly they ar
  14. Much as i agree that Steidan has been good news for the club in general i dont think in the long run he'll make lads like you happy mate.....and by lads like you i mean lads with an " ideal " For me the reason it always comes back to the move ( promise i wont go on about it ) is that we gave up any " ideals " we had about the game of football from an identity point of view, traditions call it what you like......thats not to say we can never play attractive football again it just means our priorities went in a different direction.....a bloke like Steidan has no affiliation to the club we w
  15. You've had it explained to you mate and you're not having it......you can lead a horse to water and all that. Once you can grasp the difference between " instincts " and " traits " you will be halfway to understanding gameness.
  16. So what you are saying is my little dog chasing a ball until he dies isnt game because he is enjoying himself ....you are starting to confuse yourself mate ! If you think a dog who dies during or after battle isnt having fun then again, you have no real understanding of the word. An old saying i like about gameness is " a truly game dog always thinks he is winning ".
  17. I dont know enough about foreign coaches mate so not familiar with the names you mention but my worry with a " flair type " coach for want of a better description,is that we just dont have a big enough squad.....some of our fans despise him but im ok with Sullivan but i do think he moves at the wrong times transfer wise,he lets windows go when we should buy and buys when we dont need to.......its like the old West Ham saying " we come down with the Xmas decorations " our good start is usually over by January and for me a lot of that has been about Sullivans timing....only my opinion of course.
  18. Only in a society as totally brainwashed as it currently is could such a monster be held in such regard.
  19. The tie was lost in the first leg i thought we did ok last night and gave it a go....with our best player out and a referee who with 2 sendings off and 10 bookings either enjoys being a referee a little bit too much or had totally lost control of the game it was too much of an uphill task....saying that though as peculiar as the ref was the better team went through i thought Alonso just stepped it up at half time and Leverkusen just reigned us back in they are probably the best side in Europe at the moment so no disgrace. Regards Moyes i do think he'll be gone at the end of the season and
  20. With the sheer number of cars on the roads today coupled with these ridiculous Smart Motorways something is needed to ensure safety my mrs was hit up the arse on the M1 last year and although not hurt it shook her up......she isnt a nervous type of person but on a live motorway lane between the SOS layby's unable to physically get off the motorway it wasnt a nice situation to be in yet within a few minutes the lane was closed off, traffic officers were there they drove her up to Newport Pagnell services, sat with her until the car arrived, helped her with recovery etc......im not a fan of plod/au
  21. Sound advice mate appreciated....dont get me wrong he's no super duper purpose bred killing machine he's little more than a general mooching/countryside companion we're like the blind leading the blind half the time but at this stage of life its all good fun
  22. Fair play mate you dont have the impressionable sentiment type of thing for Tyson a lot of chaps of your generation have ....im a bit older than you so caught the early Holmes career in my impressionable years and much as i admire his qualities he just didnt have the charisma to get all sentimental about. Regards the light heavies its not just at world level of course even domestically theres great matches being made. I'm going Bivol mate....its a mouth watering boxer v puncher thing on paper but when you look at them as individuals they both have so much more than that,Beterbiev i t
  23. I have a little dog here that will chase a ball until his lungs will literally burst....does that make him game ? of course it doesnt......you're just not getting it mate but to be fair most people who havent witnessed it dont.
  24. Ive always described gameness like the water level in a jar......some quite low,but its there......some so high you dont think it could carry any more.......then very rarely you come across one thats so high it spills over the edge.
  25. Id say the only era that was possibly worse than todays was the 80's.....beyond Holmes at the start and Tyson at the end it was a terrible decade for heavyweight boxing.....i honestly dont know how the division will ever get back to what it was....what most fans miss about classic heavyweight boxing can now be found in the light heavyweight division that contains genuine stars of the sport with well rounded skills and work rate......the heavyweights at world level will always be the showcase pantomime area of the game but most hardcore boxing folk accept its probably the worst division in boxi
