    I disagree i think it is a South London thing they just have no respect for property this is a mob who were infamous for trashing their own areas during the footie stuff of the 80's remember.....my sister and her ex husband had a pub round the corner to this one and it was constant......i like to think us over the river would at least take it outside like proper chaps should but they have a safety in numbers attitude in my opinion,neither of these 2 actually wanted to fight as i found out by how easy it was to split them up !

    That was the ONLY reason mate....im no Mother Theresa so no problem with the lads scrapping and im certainly no knight in shining armour come to save the day type....but you cant just stand by and watch young girls trying to part grown men like you say,ive got a daughter.

    Heres the scenario.......you're in a pub you're not overly familiar with in an area you dont often frequent......a fight kicks off between 2 reasonably capable fellas,tables flying etc......every single punter stands there watching and nobody apart from the 2 young girls in their teens/20's behind the bar attempts to split them up,one of who cops an elbow in the face.........you step in dragging them apart ( on your own ) telling one to f**k off that way and the other to f**k off the other way........order restored.     Ive always been a decent Pool player but just cant make the adjustments to Snooker as young lads we used to go to an all night Snooker hall over Bermondsey way it would be full of Chinese taxi drivers betting fortunes on games......being as how popular the game is with them it always surprised me taking so long to see top Chinese players but a few seem to be coming to the front now.     So what you are saying is my little dog chasing a ball until he dies isnt game because he is enjoying himself ....you are starting to confuse yourself mate !     I dont know enough about foreign coaches mate so not familiar with the names you mention but my worry with a " flair type " coach for want of a better description,is that we just dont have a big enough squad.....some of our fans despise him but im ok with Sullivan but i do think he moves at the wrong times transfer wise,he lets windows go when we should buy and buys when we dont need to.......its like the old West Ham saying " we come down with the Xmas decorations " our good start is usually over by January and for me a lot of that has been about Sullivans timing....only my opinion of course.

    The tie was lost in the first leg i thought we did ok last night and gave it a go....with our best player out and a referee who with 2 sendings off and 10 bookings either enjoys being a referee a little bit too much or had totally lost control of the game it was too much of an uphill task....saying that though as peculiar as the ref was the better team went through i thought Alonso just stepped it up at half time and Leverkusen just reigned us back in they are probably the best side in Europe at the moment so no disgrace.     With the sheer number of cars on the roads today coupled with these ridiculous Smart Motorways something is needed to ensure safety my mrs was hit up the arse on the M1 last year and although not hurt it shook her up......she isnt a nervous type of person but on a live motorway lane between the SOS layby's unable to physically get off the motorway it wasnt a nice situation to be in yet within a few minutes the lane was closed off,traffic officers were there they drove her up to Newport Pagnell services,sat with her until the car arrived,helped her with recovery etc......im not a fan of plod/au

    Ive always described gameness like the water level in a jar......some quite low,but its there......some so high you dont think it could carry any more.......then very rarely you come across one thats so high it spills over the edge.

    Id say the only era that was possibly worse than todays was the 80's.....beyond Holmes at the start and Tyson at the end it was a terrible decade for heavyweight boxing.....i honestly dont know how the division will ever get back to what it was....what most fans miss about classic heavyweight boxing can now be found in the light heavyweight division that contains genuine stars of the sport with well rounded skills and work rate......the heavyweights at world level will always be the showcase pantomime area of the game but most hardcore boxing folk accept its probably the worst division in boxi
