    Oh dear thats patts for you mines the same ,brilliant with the kids but she dont like nothing else,and she is worse on the lead as well,funny thing is she dont make any noise at all,she just has their neck,only thing is most patts very submissive to humans so if you can perserve and keep telling her "no" quite forcibly she may come round,mines ok unless they start on her then ..well then they usually regret it,labs,collies anything they are totally fearless

    Opened the cage on my two this morning and they both had surgical masks on and were half way through a full heart by pass on the rabbit,they too never cease to amaze me.....sorry im just in one of them moods

    My two had a phantom pregnancy and then next time had 17 between them,there was no difference in the actual pregnancy either there teats swelled and they put on weight excactly the same,so may be a phantom

    I would say there is a higher risk of deformaties in the kits,inbreeding is a no no,mind you the humans seem to do it a lot around here...

    Probably been covered elsewhere but what battery's do people find the best for the mk 3,i have found as well that if you keep them in the collar even if not in use they do run out quickly,also if you do want the cheaper ones off e bay then try typing the actual battery number in as opposed to "ferret finder battery"cos i think people are selling the same battery dearer just marketing it as a ferret finder battery.

    Thats my plan as well,cant see why not,its only breeding thats dodgy,i dont know if they can still be capable of breeding a short time after the op though there may be some live ones still in them lol

    Hi All, What ferret food do people use for their Jills when nursing,i have been using the dried food soaked and then blending it and adding a bit of cat meat just to give it a bit more taste ,anyone got any recipes that they have found particularly good,mine seem to like it ok as the dried food seems a bit bland on its own.

    Hi All, I have 2 Jills nursing 16 kits,when one of the jills trys to get out of the nest into the run the other one pulls her back by the scruff off the neck,do you think she is viewing the other Jill as a kit or merely knows the kits need both Jills to feed properly

    Hi All, maybe they arent proffessionals but it's probably better promotion for hunting than sitting on a horse with a redcoat jacket on,on the first episode they let charlie go straight into where they thought the rats where,really they should have held him back and tried to get them out first,the rats just hid and then came out another way lol,good tv though

    Hi all, Just a word on patterdales,what fantastic dogs these are,brave as brave can be,fantastically calm in the house,brilliant with the kids,but when they go into work mode,what a dog,mine was down a rabbit hole yesterday and emerged with the bunny,i didnt even see the hole was just out for a walk,is it just me or do they tend to be a little less yappy than other terriers.
