We getting our wires crossed, Mack, you never saw a coconut curry in goa or the ivy? Lol
Culinary wise, I get what you're saying, but goa is famous for it's coconut based curries.
Goa is famous for fish curries, coconut is an ingredient,it isn’t called coconut curry, how many times have you been to Goa and seen Coconut curry? Its like saying spice curry because it contains spices no?

Sunderland....absolutely stunning mate...lol
I think the best part was the A19 going south out the city...
It’s an acquired taste right? But I agree, the best thing about the place is the road out.

Right, got this blue-collar work sussed. My mate said do you want to do a lock job,I was going to go for a rack of lamb at guy Ritchies pub for lunch so I said no,he said I would be doing him a favour so off I went, easy Peasy £150 for 45 minutes work, popped the locks and replaced the two euro-cylinders,and someone must have been squatting in there at some time?

Half term next week.... thinking of taking my lad to jockland for a couple of days. Was thinking Edinburgh and the castle then perhaps Stirling castle along with a visit to Roslyn chapel.
Any suggestions for accommodation that would be suitable for Edinburgh and Stirling, maybe somewhere in-between.
Is accommodation in Edinburgh really expensive?
Any other ideas of places to visit?
Air BnB is your best bet, lots of choice, haven’t been to Edinburgh in years so can’t remember the cost.
I actually thought of you today,I saw a genuine pith helmet hanging on a wall in a gentlemen’s club in Richmond.

Sounds like you stumbled upon some real gems! I totally get the vibe of finding those authentic, bustling places that just keep you coming back. I've had similar experiences at a Korean restaurant in Auckland. The energy and flavors were just out of this world. It's those places where you feel like part of the family, even if you're not from the same background.
Love Korean food, and quirky little oriental resto's.

Years ago i had a gym and the toilet seats kept getting broken, turned out it was the joe dakies standing on them rather than sitting......ended up having the H & S officer round ordering us to install a standing cubicle ( like a shower ) for them.......we decided it was easier to ban them from the gym !....this was 10/15 years ago mind you, probably wouldnt get away with that nowadays.
Seen mucky footprints the other day in a motorway service station on a toilet bowl,I just knew.

Its another part of the great cultural enrichment that's coming to the UK More than 40m Pakistanis defecate openly: Unicef - Pakistan - DAWN.COM
Had a mate who went to Pakistan said its the reason they wear the smock type of clothing, they just kneel down and shit where they want. The more travelled amongst you may be able to confirm that ?
I have been to Pakistan a few times, India is worse to be honest, I think they had one toilet per 150 people, see people crapping in the streets and fields often, it's a mindset they bring with them, I found a pile of crap in a phone box in Hounslow, and it's common place to see dirt on a toilet bowl rim as they squat on the bowl in the UK and don't sit on the seat.

I would bet my bottom dollar he was not born here. It's just complete madness and goes' beyond rational thinking to allow people like this to reside in this country and it's not going to get better until we get politicians with just a modicum of common sense in deporting individuals like the one you saw yesterday.
London or rather parts of,is filled with such people, that guy ysterday was deffo not born in the UK,but people were just walking past him as if it was the norm,it was an area of high immigrant population so maybe they are used to it,sad to see on the streets of the capital city.
