  2. All Brownings, ABIII in .308 win, T-bolts in .22LR and .17HMR.
  3. Here's a couple of mine, I randomly found from over the years. Left to right : Gerber (too large but like it for if ever I kill a yeti) Anglo Arms (present from a son, never used) Winchester (nice feel and easy to use) Camillus (very nice lightweight deer grallocher/skinner) Mora (very nice field dresser and fish knife) Ridge runner(compact nice gutting/skinner set) 2 x Master USA (general purpose lockers) I've loads more, but if they're not at hand they ain't no good ?

  8. Long gone are the days where you could get slop for free from kitchens, it's not cheap any more to feed em!
  9. I've only looked at slow growers an old breed pigs, but they're expensive and intensive, don't know if it's worth it, may take the plunge and try one day, but set in my ways what I like.
  10. They don't seem that bad here and a hardy heard, I don't want to temp fate though, the alpine x do well, but the Boer are a good breed

  13. Ahh I wish I had the energy! Only have 7 nannys a billy, they good grazers and eat all the marsh grass, get a few kids this year, but home kill a couple with the .22 , mine never scream

  16. Aye I know, never feel guilty leaving other animals for slaughter, apart from goats, have to freeze them a few weeks afore I can eat em.
  17. Puts me off getting sucklers in spring that now, they soon grow though, pigs are nearly as good as goats. Always feel guilty taking pigs to slaughter, never sheep ?

  21. Quite happy with my 110, nearly worth what we paid for it six year ago now, Christmas 2014 we picked it up. I'm still debating if the TD5 we had was better? Still does it's job and have a guy that's into them that keeps an eye on it twice a year, wouldn't swap it or sell it to get the new one. If I want tech then the rangerover does just as good a job, three times the price and double to maintain, but it is comfy and has a fridge and TV! That was £80k new now worth around 16k, six year old. No brainer, I'd not sell the defender or have the new one, it may just go in another cont

    Check Up

    Took my BM at xmas and it was 28.9 ?, I've got it down to reasonable levels now but ain't going for my HSBC1 till April, that way they won't catch me out ?
