Loads of really sporting chaps on here , old big Ron must be non sporting and have shit dogs as when I was in the catching deer game I wouldn’t care if they hit fences , trees , caught in the open or caught the number 57 bus to my front door as long as I caught them and they ended in my freezer you got to keep it honest and believable lads now bucks and stags in the rut are a different thing and this is sport of kings but they still didn’t get the 100 yard slip McCUll we only used 1 or 2 dogs at most before you start and no motors helped ,but this was all pre ban now
old Ron has been very productive on here this morning after coffee and exercising hounds

My dogs have a garmin collar on even if just exercising , I don’t do it for others I don’t it for piece of mind
Had Garmin 13/14 years now , they are on even running rabbits as past experiences have taught me you never know what’s over the brow, had dogs on things silent 100m away in woods that wouldn’t of found if not for good old trusty Garmin. But suppose it can also boil down to type of animals you keep.
U owe me

I’m afraid if they any good they will be kept tight and never advertised and that’s way it has always been.
Saying that good ones do get advertised now and again but very rare I’d say.
Plenty of good dogs about just got to put work in and try to get in know and in these circles somehow, don’t blame these circles keeping it tight thou amount of idiots out there.

You’ve all forgotten the 2 most important items ….. a map and compass and the knowledge of how to use them.
I'm afraid that's a skill beyond most these days

I used the new creosote for few gates and one shed, but for a log cabin I got I use the clear Barrenttine stuff.
Like you said once you go into it a bit it can get confusing

Garmin 430 tracker and 2 x Mini collars
View Advert
As above , year old £700
One collar makes slight rattling noise if shaken , like a little screw loose inside but works perfect.
PM if interested.

2 of my mates got litters on the ground right now out of good proven bitches, all pups being gifted & every one booked before they were born, so that’s not a theory it’s fact. Not everyone operates that way some people want to make their money back & don’t mind selling pups to strangers but not everyone shares that opinion, some people are very guarded where their pups go and money doesn’t come in to it. Whichever way a man chooses to do it with his own pups is up to him, but what you’ve said isn’t just a bullshit claim there’s people out there that do it like that & If everyone shared their views there would be a lot less rubbish about & a lot less lurchers passed from pillar to post

My understanding was the boar is always at the back when they move in a group, but I also stand to be corrected
The male boar live away from the group (sounder) and the matriarch dominant Sow who is the daddy of the group. There are certain areas up the forest where all you will see are mature male boar on their own or younger ones in 2/3 s.
