Nah mate prison would kill me been close a couple of times though. Lol At least with the pit you could go for a spin with your lurchers once the shift was over and one of the best feeling coming up the cage from a night shift was when that ray of sunlight hit you in the face though it did make you squint a bit. Lol 😆

when the best part of a days work is when you see sunlight and your alive finally above ground it’s time for a different job mate lol

and you get these wet wipes saying they have ptsd lol down there must of invented it

I don’t ever go on the football thread as my expert opinion is that dogs chase balls not people, but most blokes can talk a glass eye to sleep on that subject

i loved it as a kid but can’t watch it now or follow it if i watch the euros this year it will be on mute

i find it crazy how blokes get so caught up on a kids game

How do you work that out ? Ali had no real size/weight advantage....when he held in the clinch it was for the same reason any fighter holds in the clinch, not to drain his opponent with a 6 inch height and 3 stone weight advantage like Fury does....likewise Lewis/Klitschko were both the same size.....and no holding and hitting is not permitted and shouldnt be tolerated by any decent referee....particularly when one fighter is gaining a significant advantage from doing it.

I remember refs years ago like old Harry Gibbs or Dave Parris would of given you 2 warnings then you're out of there.....a referee is there to not just uphold the rules but also to encourage a good fight.

frazier won the first the second i’ve never seen anyone holding and holding the head as much as ali did ever in a fight ? and the 3rd frazier wanted to carry on ali was trying to jack

i meant both lewis and klitschko would both hit and hold against smaller opposition

keep them at distance and tie up on inside has always been used by taller fighters mate

  6. i’m sea level only once has it flooded as high as the road kerb tops others  close were f****d especially ones in the new builds on flood plains lol  i can hit water 6 inch down most winter

I’m at a high point on the Tyne valley, everything is steeply downhill from here.
Had it over 40 years and never had a problem with flooding.

    Cheers.

it could back up your sewers still if a pump went down at the right time but been high it’s never going to get into your home

a house on the top of a valley as astute as ever lol

Neither have I ! I just thought if everyone else is talking shite; I didn’t want to be left out ! PMSL !

    Cheers.

your in a barratt ain’t ya if it’s a a good sized developement they have sumps underground they hold and release at the right time when it’s real bad they have people check them and trucks on call 24/7 who go and pump them to there wagon

if my back yard was like paulus i’d just dig out plenty a clay if it is clay that holds water anyway and and type one granite down some grano dust on top and artificial grass it lol job done

even do you a deal paulus thl discount only  20k

That’s alright for you to say; but if psi is being used a variable, as it appears here, (h = z + psi), then it’s of no use to Paulus.

It would need to be a constant, relating to the gradient x length, (average), of his property !

Im sure my mate mC would be in complete agreement !

    Cheers.

i ain’t got a clue what your on about lol

Just ask mchull he will know

all i know is like has been said the water level can be close to the surface if it was new builds they will normally put a massive underground  sump or sumps to hold the excess when its real bad rain they come and empty them to stop the flooding

knowledge is power young tomo. lol

With a strong referee who wouldnt tolerate Fury's mauling and leaning David Haye for the first 4 rounds would have been an absolute nightmare for Fury .....pinpoint accuracy, decent power,explosive.....on a purely boxer versus puncher match up id have fancied Haye there.

Different type of fighter completely but similar to Usyk/Fury the outcome could depend on the referee....Usyk is a far superior fighter so if Fury's not allowed to use his size advantage because of a strong ref who wont tolerate his antics theres a good chance Fury ends up getting disqualified.

good point  that Gnash , god knows how this fight going to pan out,Usyk  team will know what will happen i dare say.I mean what fury 6ft 9in prob com in 18st  5lb there about i was reading he dropped  1 st .Usyk  5ft 3in prob come in 15st   12 lb , same size as Ali  at his best .Yeh weak ref Usyk will loose this deff, the  mauling and holing will sap Usyk. u nless his team can get him to attack quick in/out  like he did with Aj 2 fights. he deff can drop Fury  , he got enough power at nearly 16st, but going to be hard unless strong ref   .:boxing:

with a strong ref frazier would a beaten ali everytime they fought lol

lewis klitschko all use to hit and hold it’s what tall fighters do ain’t it ?

they won’t be no holding any way usyk won’t be charging in it will be a boxing match let’s see who has the better skill

There's nothing to prove that mate, Wilder is shit I mean really shit.. I know he knocked a load out, but other than Fury it is only Ortiz on his record of any worth (edited to add Parker, but he lost to him convincingly so probably adds weight to the argument), the fights with him were a mess in all honesty.. fair play to Fury getting up and getting results, but Wilder is not a good gauge... he beat Klitschko in a bore fest, but fair play... and that's that... I know his size is brought into the argument, but I just don't think he's close to a prime Foreman, Bowe, Lewis, Ali, Holmes infact I think Holyfield does him even though he's giving a way a couple of feet and half a ton!! lol...

Problem is we'll never know because he hasn't made the fights that should've been made, so we just can't compare fairly imo... it's all historical hypothetical internet yapping at the end of the day, I had the same yap a few years back with a good mate of mine, good armature boxer himself, I couldn't believe he saw this great boxing skills in Fury, I went back and watched his fights again and still couldn't see it... I maybe missing something, but other than being a big lump that likes to lean on you a lot and before that went backwards for 12 rounds flicking a jab out every so often, I just don't see the big boxing IQ i'm meant to... he's certainly a showman and sales tickets and fair play to the man he's made a ton of money in the hardest sport in the world for that he has my respect no doubt...

i get we’re your coming from klitschko was a very good champion been able to make someone look like there clueless lost is a skill in it’s self

look at chisora went the distance with vitali who would of also give any heavy a nights work fury played  with chisora no one else has even usyk wasn’t convincing against a well passed it del boy

They're both shit, it's a shit era mate... Anyone who puts any of this era anywhere near the top 10 of all time is nuts imo... But that's it, it's only opinions, you've always held Fury in high regard I just don't see it and never have,I just don't see these boxing skills others do... Him and wilder tripped over each other for 3 fights! Lol

i wouldn’t say it’s so much a shit era mate been some and will be more interesting fights i agree fury isn’t the best ever technically or to watch even but to think he wouldn’t be a struggle for any heavyweight ever isn’t right  i think he would be a nightmare for most

You being the heavyweight boxing guru, I can't be bothered.

Pointless even trying to have any sort of conversation about fury with you, Gooey.

I find you too tiresome to keep doing this, Gooey, so I'll let you have the last word.  👍

That's your opinion, mate, and that's OK.

BUT, who is fury's biggest 'scalp', wilder?  The same wilder who's boxing record is littered with names no-one has ever heard of, let alone journeymen.

who were the reigning champions joshua beat again ? and how long did they hold the title and what have they done since ??lol

    comical lol
