    Pointer, A freind of mine has bred borders for some time and granted they can be slow starters , His sire didn't start until 3 years old, He has a 15 mth old bred from his original line 3rd or 4th gen I think and this has already started I seen here kill her fisrt fox in under 10 mins stone dead throat hold, It taken her time in finding & entering usually dropped in at the end of a few digs to get her going, She now is working well and finding on her own, Just a pity season has ended for her as she could do with a few more under belt, I think with borders or any other terrier you have

    What a bag of shite this thread turned into, I judged 1 of GM terriers at CON 2006 in best entered (show dog not worker) which he himself admitted that he dont do much graft with any terriers nowadays the only thing this had seen was a grooming parlour, A mate got 1 last night direct from him 2 yrs old (show dog not a worker) I had 1 never made the grade ( good for the show's though he he) [bANNED TEXT] only get out of a dog what you put in weather from show/working stock Who gives a monkey's what who pays what thats there buisness, In my book if the terrier does that damage then

    Butler why is it stupid to post pics of the end result on a perfectly legal dig that was dispatched in a humane way via the farmer with the gun, The argument you are picking is about the state of the dog's mussle , If you were a genuine digging man then you would know that the pics look worse than they actualy are, I ve seen a hell of a lot worse of terriers after a dig than that as we all have I'm sure.
